I don’t think CBB is Dianne’s thing. There’s too much sitting around doing nothing. I think it would drive her insane being in there.

Brendan went on Celeb Love Island and thumped someone from Hollyoaks, he also chased a chicken with a catapult before wringing its neck on a travel programme and the thing that saw him off Strictly? Doing an inept pot stirrer and backchatting Shirley. With Fern Britton and Kate’s uncle, I think the rest will be jockeying for air time.

And Gio is on the Never-Ending Tour so wasn't free. I'm just grateful Vito's not doing it.

Nikita's not going to get involved with fights. I guess they might try to manufacture a showmance. That Ekin-Su looks the most likely candidate, but he won't go there. He'll be teaching Fern the Cha Cha and if he's lucky he'll get to talk on air a bit about Ukraine

Maybe the showmance will be with Fern.
 
I'm still much too Aunt Violet over his decision to go on it in the first place. Therefore if anyone requires my presence during this strange time, I shall be in the east wing, sipping sherry and tinkling upon the pianoforte.

I think Artem viewed Strictly as one big audition for DWTS and saw getting a bit of a duffer (though Fern was far from being an Anneka Rice) as holding him back from 'proving himself'. Or he was just young and overly competitive. Either way, he was a total dick on Strictly, but must have matured somewhat over the years, I don't think he'd have lasted on DWTS if not as he's had his fair share of headcases over there. He is noticeably one of the only pros though who never really gets close with his partner, even now.

Yeah, after I posted that video I was thinking about how Artem was the proto-Gio in that he couldn’t be arsed with anyone that wasn’t a full-on contender, took himself way too seriously, thought he was completely above the show, and caused everyone to swoon whereas I was suffered from major ick every time I looked at him.

If Gio can get away with everything he has done, unless Nikita does something reprehensible, which is almost an impossibility, he will still be on Strictly this year.
