Amanda Abbington was on the weakest link tonight. She's very intelligent - especially compared to the numpties usually on that show - but she didn't like being voted by the other participants!!! And Ramesh made a comment about being frightened of her when she got voted off.

She defo did not come across well.

I’m not so sure that she wants to be an influencer. I think it’s just that she’s young and excited about being around famous people. Her posts seem to be mainly Nikita based or her posing for photos as she’s a model. She’s done a few posts with Zara, which again I think is probably about her thinking it’s cool to be mates with someone famous. I don’t get any sense of who she is and what she is influencing from her social media other than she is living the dream holidaying lots with her hot famous bloke.

I don't really know what influencers do lol so 🤷‍♀️

I just know if I looked like her I'd want to be one 😂

Amanda always strikes me as one of those very thin skinned people who takes herself very seriously. Having said that Strictly pros still like and comment on her social media. I’m not sure I would a few months after all the drama if I felt someone had tried to cause problems for one of my colleagues 🤔

Yeah Ellie posted a very affectionate birthday wish for her the other day. And Luba, Vito, Krishnan, Nikita and others liked or commented on her birthday post.

Gorka’s looks are getting worse. He’s morphed into a middle-aged lesbian house painter (nothing wrong with being one!). That stylist is stealing a living

I never got the Gorka love, and I most certainly don't get it now. The absolute state of him:ROFLMAO:
 
I wonder if the Spanish DWTS have told him his ‘character’ on the panel is ‘edgy, uber-high-fashion metrosexually ambiguous diva’ and are dictating his wardrobe for the show accordingly?

I don’t take much notice of the pros outside of SCD, but Gorka doesn’t usually dress like this, does he?

I don't know, but his latest outings on Spain's SCD and a couple of award show appearances have seen him wear brooches, necklaces and vests under jackets. All horrendous looking btw.:sick:

I don't think it's got anything to do with the Spanish DWTS, he wore a pearl necklace to some award thing the same week he went out last year, so well before it started.

That stylist of Gemma's with the unfortunate hair seems to be the perpetrator... I remember on her stories he was sorting Gorka's wardrobe for the series a day or two before he was announced as a judge.

I don't actually mind the jewellery, personally, but I'm not a fan of the weird oversized jackets.

Ryan Kay also styles some of the Real Housewives of Cheshire, obviously the man to go to if you are aiming for the “lot’s of money but no class” look.

I was telling my hubby that there is a fashion for men wearing pearl necklaces recently (I first noticed it with Vito) - his response wasn’t unexpected 🙄
Also told him to think twice before coming downstairs wearing mine, although I am sure they would be delighted to make it out of the jewellery box for something other than a funeral!

Current circumstances are limiting my ability to get out to shows, otherwise I may have travelled that little bit further to support him.
I also have a big soft spot for the 3 of them, they have such good energy, so hopefully they will have all the success they deserve 🥰.
