It doesn't sit right that James was the first to mention it. He is on social media all the time, he would know no one else has mentioned it. Its up to the family or Robins representatives to announce it. James and Robin never seemed especially close.

Knowing the attention seeker James is, I think he probably did it to be first and for the attention
 
Gosh what a terrible shock! I had a few chats over the years with him, such a lovely man . I definitely noticed he was in a bit of dark place with the stuff he was posting on his stories recently. I know the cruise ship job was cut short for some reason . Gordana and Trent are going to be devastated, they were incredibly close to him. She was doing the cruise ship dancing with him and he spent a lot of time with them.

Wasn't that because of Gordana having some issue with her passport? I follow her and Trent, I didn't follow Robin, so I don't know if he kept dancing with someone else after she had to leave.

So sad, I keep thinking I hope they don't feel like they could have done something to prevent it (if it was what it seems like it probably was) :(
 
Zoe Ball just did a tribute to him on her show. Posts from Karen, Neil, Gorka, Graz and Amy. He seemed to be so loved. Michelle Visage posted that she danced with him after she left Strictly as she wanted to keep practising and she posted a lovely video of them doing the samba.
I enjoyed his tweets during the show: lusting after Vito and defending Layton. So sad.💔

Very sad news. I just saw the end of an interview with Arlene Phillips on Morning Live. In it, she said she'd looked back on their last conversation and wondered if she could have said anything different - ie saying he could get into musical theatre now (as he'd apparently expressed an interest in going in that direction). Gaby Roslin was hosting and said not to feel bad.

I suspect it was because she flew back to Slovenia straight away. He didn’t do anymore dancing, just went to South Africa for a break.
She’s posted a story, obviously broken hearted bless her.
I can’t imagine what thoughts she’s having. Having lost a few people close to me to suicide you never stop wondering ’What if?’
