Really hope Layton & Nikita don't turn out to be one of those Strictly "BFFs for life" that turn out to lose touch very quickly.

Will be interested to see who sees each other after Sunday though, and who doesn't. Not counting some of the series pairings who have probably already lost touch.

I can't see it. They had mutually agreed to take a step away from each other over the Christmas/New Year holidays, to give each other a break after everything being so intense during the Strictly bubble, but found that they missed each other too much and ended up face-timing each other constantly. So even if they aren't living in each other's pockets like they are now, I still forsee them being mates.
 
There was one absolute shithead on instagram who kept copy-pasting "they were bottom of the public vote every week" under every positive comment about L & N around the week of the Final. I know it's a waste of energy thinking about them, but I hope they know they've won the tour and are absolutely seething about it!

But honestly probably not, people like that never admit when they're wrong. I saw a comment on one of the results videos on youtube calling their wins fixed. (by whom?) :rolleyes:

I was reasonably confident they'd get one or two wins, and a few more runner up spots, but I never imagined they'd do this well! So happy for them.

Even though they've already won the tour, I'm getting greedy now and keeping my fingers crossed that the predicted Booby domination of London doesn't come to pass and they win at least once there too. Ellie as well.

I think nearly everyone will stay in touch this year, bar Les and Nancy and Jody and Jowita. Angela and Carlos are joined at the hip. Angela R and Kai have a very cordial professional relationship. Zara and Graz seem to be very pally and even Nikita and Gorka tag each other on insta.
Layton and N will probably do more shows together. Ellie and V are doing their wee This Morning segments.
Oh I forgot FR and Amanda - they’ll defo see each other again… at a tribunal!

Layton and Nikita will be safety husbands, and if they aren't both married by 40 they will marry each other. 😆😆

The thing with keeping in touch is at the very least occasional a couple of times a year. Those Pros lead crazy busy lives, with tours and then Strictly dominating 6 months of the year, especially the non Brits who also want to spend time at home.
Coupled with the celebs own career even if they want to stay in touch beyond texts it can be hard to maintain the original bond.

Yeah, there is a difference between the ones who may text once a year and the real friendships: hopefully Ellie and Vito, Angela and Carlos, and Layton and Nikita will be proper friends, even with work commitments.

Some of them went bowling last night - Annabel, Krishnan, Jowita, Graz, Angela S. Not sure if anyone else: a smaller gang than last year.
And Amy was at the show!

TBF a couple of weeks is about average for his relationships.
I think Ashley is the only one who lasted close to a year and even then probably because she raised his profile.
He doesn't appear to have had one genuinely long term relationship and he's mid 30's! Yet the Beryls are convinced he will eventually settle down with a rose nice girl and start a family yet he's completely inexperienced at LTR and living with someone that doesn't bode well for this 'nice girl'.

Im guessing Ellie (and Vito) probably in London doing the This Morning segment, if Ellie starts her cluedo tour end of Feb, then she must pretty much go into rehearsals for that after the strictly tour.
