I wonder if part of it is down to the celebs that are on it. When you think about it, there's almost a 60 year age gap between the youngest and oldest people on the tour this year, it has to have some sort of impact on things. I think the cast in general last year were a lot closer in age.

Yeah, I feel like the celebs are close to their partners but not really that close with each other.

I almost included the pros in my post, Nikita is obviously busy racing around teaching the world to dance with Layton and Kai is busy being middle aged 😂

I think it’s the age thing too. Ellie and Bobby are so much younger than the Angela’s, Krishnan and Annabel. I think Layton is probably the one who is friendly with the young ones and some of the older ones but he is racing about doing the workshops with a lot of his limited free time. He also tweeted something about going to the cinema with his boyfriend so is probably spending time with him when he does get that one evening off a week.

Kai is one of those people that needs someone to bounce off.

I said at the start of the tour the vibe would probably be quite different on this tour partly due to the demographic being unusually stacked towards the mature end of the age scale. But I didn't expect them to be so disengaged from SM and even to an extent as a group.
Then again the tour has just started and the first week is usually the toughest for the celebs so maybe they are all just settling in.

Age wise
Celebs : 20, 22, 29, 40, 53, 57, 79
Pros: 26,28, 29, 29, 30,31, 32, 34,34,34, 41, 41

And with one of the youngest Pros and Celebs being busy elsewhere in their off time you can see why that might be due to the mix of people.
Ironic in the year they have two of their youngest ever finalists and their youngest ever winner.

I was looking at these pro ages thinking 'who's 28? Is it Jowita? No, she's 29. Who is it that's 28?' before I eventually realised that it's Kai. I do not even think of him as being in his 20s 😆

Looked like Neil was the last one onto the coach, on the way to the matinee, after being really sweet with all the uber fans. Then I realised that Nikita was on that coach! Unfortunately the windows were blacked out but he was right there. I'm sure I'd faint dead away if I actually saw him in person. 🤣♥️

I think Angela, Krishnan and Annabel are quite serious people as well … not saying that they aren’t having fun and enjoying themselves but I would imagine their down time on the bus is more napping and reading that high jinks ad cling film.
 
I love that the first thing Layton and Ellie do is hug each other 🥰

Annabel did have a bit of a dance in the shop the other night 😂 I would imagine Layton would pull most people out of their shell a bit.

Poor Ellie can't be nice to fall infront of so many people again hopefully it wasnt anything too bad , better they acknowledge it during feedback though instead of trying to hide it

Take it that'll hand it to Bobby again though.
