Tbh is anyone really surprised Ellie and Knobby are hanging out? Makes sense the youngest would gravitate towards each other - they wouldn't have time to do that while doing the TV show as they were with their partners all the time but I don't think there's anything too deep in the two youngest suddenly wanting to hang out.

Shirley said that exact thing to her too. For me it was a 😳😬😒 moment because the first thing I thought of her was her husband, not her dance partners. She later clarified she meant her dance partners

It makes total sense. The only other contestant in his 20’s is Layton and he is too busy teaching kids and thirsty adults with Nikita in his spare time or back flipping around the arena.

TBF Layton seems to get on with everyone. But yeah, if he's busy then Ellie's options are basically Bobby or Vito. I see Angela S seems to be hanging out exclusively with Carlos and Nancy. They're a cute friendship. I'm sure there will be various group outings.

If you spread the net wider and include the Pros there are more youngsters, Kai he's only 27. 🕺

I know it's crazy I remember Ellie and Vito's age difference being talked about and someone saying if it was only 4 years it wouldn't be so bad well with Kai it would only be 4 years! Yet that comes across as a way bigger age difference and they would look so wrong together.
Personality wise too Kai comes across as middle aged ready to slow life down sort.

When I think back to his DWTS days he was a lot more youthful and seemed to socialise more but both he and his ex always came across as the quite couple that wanders off and does their own thing so he's always had that vibe.

It was interesting last year that he was way more youthful and up for fun on the tour, hanging out with Tyler. Tyler is very good for him in general. The stories so far this tour are really dull in comparison.
