Pretty sure I read something about her being the/one of the highest earners within strictly and outside of.

If she ever left it would have to be of her own accord where as others would have to do everything to stay
Chloe and Cameron never got paired, Neil once or twice and Michelle has yet to leave the bench and I don't think she ever will she's already slipped onto the background most probably don't know she's a pro.

Diane also has the Australian connection.

i suppose Gio shilling his next tour now means that if he doesn’t make it onto Strictly next series means that at least he’s mostly sold out without it.

Well I think Brendan's tour sunk like a stone after he was dropped from Strictly so maybe its a good idea to start selling now.

However, all the Scottish pantos started selling tickets during this years runs. I've already bought my tickets for boxing day cos the good seats were selling out!!!

I've said before that I like Gio. Sometimes I'm finding it hard 😳😳😳

But!!! I've also said before that you can see he developing a pot belly and Lauren is a FABULOUS dancer. She was quite obviously better than Gio on the tour he did with Anton

It would be really good if they could find a female Layton to pair with Lauren.

The Strictly bosses don't care what you earn outside of Strictly, I very much doubt that comes into play when they organising the Pro line up.

I don't see why 'others would have to do everything to stay' no main cast pro has been dropped since Brendan they have all moved on, maybe some a bit nugged but TPTB seem to be keen to keep the Pros long term now a days. I suspect the next female hire will be fairly young due to this they will then have a female pro for the more younger males.

I can see us seeing Diane for a few more years, she doesn't give the impression that she is ready to leave.

He's coming across like one of those washed up old idols who continue to do multiple retirement tours.
Plus he and the strictly theatre company know it will generate talk, at the very least the Beryl's will panic buy the tickets.

I did wonder if Ellie sharing this pic last night (in amongst a load of her and Vito) was an attempt to get the press back on the Bobby rumours 😂

If she’s papped outside of the tour, it’s generally been with Bobby.
 
I do think it’s intrusive if 2 people have said they are friends and haven’t ever said they are anything more, for people to continue asking. If they are together they clearly dont want to make it public knowledge yet. I hope if V&E are together they don’t announce it via OK/Hello.
I’m no Gio fan but I kind of like how he launched his relationship with Jowita - I think he knew the Rios would go all Miss Marple on the party he was at with Jowita. Still makes me laugh.

I mean, Vito did kind of ask for it when he posted that late-night pic during the show of him in his vest showing his armpits off, and calling her 'baby'. It was mentioned again in the 5 Live interview, but the interviewer immediately said 'you've said you're good friends' (so why bring it up then?). (Ellie also posted a story of herself in bed alone in her hotel in Manchester last night with her stuffed rabbit so she is out there fire-fighting).

They also asked, clearly on the back of the Amanda stuff, about how hard it was for older women and how does the pro know how much to push. Vito just said you have to push in little increments based on what they can do, but he added that you have to make sure it is always fun for them so I like to think that was FR shade.

When I saw that clip, with nancy and graz in the background too, I thought it really shows their Burn the floor experience. There is a certain style that they learn that is a huge advantage. Jojo has that movement too. Hard to explain, it just makes them really adaptable . Vito is the only one out of the non BTF trained that has that flow naturally.

I personally think the couples that ‘promote’ their relationship, eg lots of posts together, tend to be the ones that aren’t actually together and are having a good laugh about it. I don’t think ellie and Vito are together otherwise I think they’d be more low-key about it. They probably just have a good friendship and don’t mind the pr, the strictly team will love it as for once there’s no scandal, just two single people possibly dating. If you look at how Gio was with rose, loads of posts together and her being in his tv show with anton (good pr for him) compared to how under wraps he kept his thing with jowita, it’s kind of the same story.

Usual a statement like 'you've said you are friends' then swiftly moving on is something that's been agreed upon with PR/their team before hand it's a way of acknowledging the gossip but without putting them on the spot and making it awkward.

Norma the rabbit has danced a Rhumba with Vito maybe she's welcome to join them... ;) :ROFLMAO:

I could make a joke about another type of ‘rabbit’ joining them but won’t.
 
I've just listened to the 5 Live breakfast radio interview what a difference a good interviewer can make especially with Vito, he was about to give his waffle about I believe in you believe in yourself and she asked if there was anything specifically when they first met that made him think that or was she just really good from the start, Vito said no they had to work at it really hard (learning the steps) from the beginning but that she was committed.
Which I found really interesting, I imagine as a highly competitive dancer that is all they really want someone whiling to commit and trust you.

Rachel sort of alluded to Gio and Amanda and asked Vito to explain as a teacher how you deal with a situation that's highly pressurised and doing something out of your comfort zone how do you teach without going too far, he replied taking it in stages and pushes ahead once Ellie was comfortable with what they were doing but to make sure it was fun and they could laugh and enjoy themselves.

I think Ellie took being asked about tour 'shenanigans' as secret tour shagging and she didn't quite know what to say. :ROFLMAO:
