I think Ellie is fairly reserved and performing in an arena must be really quite intimidating. I’m anxious just at the thought of being in the crowd 😂 I’m sure the first shows were probably the most overwhelming and hopefully she’ll be feeling a bit more confident now she has a few under her belt.

I agree! Bet it’s been overwhelming, especially surrounded with uber confident people. I think she’ll be just fine ❤️
 
I’m not happy that they appear to have apparently cut the bum sniffing dance out of the show.

I’m impressed that Layton has only been doing the show for 3 days and he already appears to have some outfit changes. Just saw a video of the results from today’s matinee and he is now in a sparkly red catsuit. I wonder how many costume changes he will manage by the end 😂

I think they’re heading to Sheffield tonight (the boys are coming for you @kachoochoo 🥰) and I guess they stopped off to get supplies for the journey.

Ellie was wearing a catsuit today instead of her red dress. Maybe they've given them all a few variations?

I saw our boy Neil commented under the pic of Nikita, Vito and Graz: 'my favourite Italians'. I hope Gio's ears are burning, as he insults Krishnan in Milton Keynes or wherever.

So weird, I wonder why? Did people complain that the singing made their ears bleed? :ROFLMAO:

I thought the choreo of the weird bum dance was pretty naff, but I'm still sad not to have more content of the gorgeous boys to perv over. Particularly Nikita in that sparkly silver shirt with the floppy hair! :cry:
 
Carlos sure seems to be overshadowed by Vito, Nikita, and even Graziano lately. I wish I knew why they canceled his showcase Fosse number.

Have they previously axed group dances from the tour shows?

I wonder if it is a timing issue (especially on days when there are 2 shows). Anyone see the bum dance before it was axed - did the show run over the expected end time?

OMG I'm an idiot. But thank you for clearing that up! I was thinking it seemed out of character for him to say something like that.

I really think the language barrier is a problem for Carlos, and even still, for Gorka, and it's part of the reason they seem a bit awkward or timid or something. And Chinese is so different - it must be 10 times harder to cope with English than for a European. (but I don't know how much English they get in school.) I even spent a summer there, but it was Shanghai so I don't think that's representative. Carlos is from Taiyuan, population only about 5 million, so a mere village in China - though he says he's from Shanghai, or that was the last place -- oh I don't know, but I get second hand painful cringe sometimes watching him with Claudia and on ITT, etc.

And with Gorka, I think he can appear sullen and awkward too, though it's getting better. That workout obsession turned me off Gorka so I don't follow his Instagram or anything. Sheesh. Is it small man syndrome? Though maybe a decent fallback career as a trainer.

Nahh you are not, it is easier to tell on some stories if they have been reposted than others tbf.

I cannot imagine how hard it must be to have to speak another language in front of an audience. I am bi-lingual from birth, so it is easy for me to pick up other languages (some more than others) but I would be terrified.
I also have friends who have gained additional languages later in life, my best mate used to think in his native language and then translate in his mind before speaking. With experience, he started thinking in English and has said this helps him with public speaking in his job.

Re Gorka: wasn’t a fan of his rbf, but seeing him with his dance partners, fellow pros and more importantly at home with Gemma and the kids, he is a big softie ❤️ (He’s not the man for me though, I am not that committed to working out outside the bedroom 😂)
