Getting closer to the first few names being revealed. I just hope that they can pull this series off, but not too much because I don't want TPTB rewarded or to keep their jobs after December.

Get the feeling that they aren't replacing Graz this year after all, and will cast for 8 female pros to be partnered. My guess based on the rumours is 8 male celebs, 7 female celebs with one same-sex partnership for each.
 
I want a decent female same sex partnership.
The guys have had John and Layton who were both finalists. Richie wouldn’t have gone out so soon if he was paired with someone who could see past their own massive ego.

The girls have been Nicola Adams who had to drop out because of Covid but was never going to get to the final and Jayde who was voted out so nobody had to hear about her pubes any more. Now let’s have a female ringer to dance with Luba who won’t talk about their own public hair please.

I completely agree but public hair made me chuckle.

Mainly because Jayde certainly made hers far more public than necessary.
 
Jayde was one of those contestants that probably did their career more harm than good by appearing on Strictly, IMO. Most celebs get a small boost at least. But she came across as such a pain in the arse.
Caroline Quentin was another one. All the pre-publicity was sort of building her up to be the star of the series, but then she just came across as a bit of a humourless diva.

It is a bit different from the one I saw on Reddit yesterday.

It could be true and I don't think the scumbag BBC would be above shelling out for Hannah Waddingham to save the steaming tit heap of their reputation. However, it could all be bollocks too.
 
Didn’t Duncan James already do Dancing on Ice? I know Angela was on last year, but I thought that was an exception because she was only in a qualifier for DOI and didn’t make it to the actual competition.

She had a pretty much sold out tour straight after and has worked consistently in tv ever since including co-writing. She’s doing fine.
