The moment you embark on a relationship with a colleague you do so knowing that if it ends you are going to have to find a way to work with each other still. Neil and Katya and Kevin and Karen both managed fine, so I have little sympathy for Nadiya and Kai I’m afraid. It’s not like they didn’t make their money off the relationship either.

Exactly, the fact that they monetised it almost straight away made me think it was more of a business relationship than true love anyway.

Of course. Same as any job. And I am sure that they will be.

On a sort of related note it was something I couldn't understand last year when some people were praising Neil and Gorka for being there on Saturday nights as both had new babies at home.
Eh? It's their job. And the babies weren't home alone! 😁

But if it was the mums at work on a Saturday night it would be cries of “WHY AREN’T YOU AT HOME WITH YOUR BABY YOU TERRIBLE MOTHER” 🤣

Exactly. The vast majority of viewers either won’t know, won’t remember, or won’t care.

Pretty much the only people interested are the people who are interested enough to talk about it online (I.e us). For most people Strictly is just a shiny thing that happens in the background while they’re eating their takeaway and wondering what to wear to their works Christmas night out.

Well unless one of them got caught snogging a tit comedian by the bins out the back of a Wetherspoons, Neil’s still got them beat in terms of the ‘well isn’t this awkward’ stakes 🤷‍♀️
