She is an absolutely disgusting person. I agree that Gio has been briefing hard that the investigation absolves him and it would be weird if that was BS. Or maybe it's going to be inconclusive, which his team will spin as him being cleared ('no real evidence..').
I really feel for Amanda in this.

Also, the show is too long, two/two and a half hours ends up feeling like a slog. I know it wonā€™t happen, but I wish they would cut back to twelve celebrities, with a few weeks more between the launch and the live shows.

For me I find what puts me off watching the show is that there is very little dancing - like 90 seconds I believe? And you have the VT of them during the week where it shows their training but often they do silly little skits or they show the male partner getting his chest waxed, something that doesnā€™t really add to the competition but just takes up so much time. Then the dance, the judging, then Claudia basically forcing them to say how much they love each other and wringing out tears. Plus they do a weird thing with a random celebrity saying the telephone number to vote. Itā€™s a camp show by its nature but I think parts have gone OTT and itā€™s not as slick a production as it could be.

Edited to add: someone on my Facebook worked out a few years ago that actual dancing takes up 23 minutes of the whole production including the professionals. If thatā€™s still the same numbers then itā€™s ridiculous for the show to be 2 hours.

There is a middle aged woman Iā€™ve seen on instagram who appears to have gone to all the Lakita workshops, meet and greets and shows and has Nikitaā€™s signature tattooed on her arm. I think you need to go one further and get his signature tattooed on your member. Iā€™m sure nothing can go wrong with this plan šŸ¤”
 
All the Insta comments are about how disgusting it is Zara and Amanda have ruined G&Gs careers just because they canā€™t take criticism and couldnā€™t work hard and that everyone should shut up and be kind because they may kill themselves. So itā€™s ok for pros to actually be physically, mentally (or both!) abusive towards the women and then give them loads of hate and it doesnā€™t matter if they harm themselves but god forbid you send earned, relevant criticism towards the perpetrators? I bleeping despair. Itā€™s always from middle aged women too so desperate for the attention of handsome men theyā€™d throw their fellow women under the bus just to get there

Glad that there are rumours of a 2010 style mass cull, but should have happened a few years ago.

Graz & Gio are both pricks, but you can't tell me that they didn't feel invincible with this recent culture of them never cutting any pros from the lineup. They probably decided they could behave however they wanted because Sarah James would still give them a spot the following year. For sure some pros have gotten too big for their boots.

I'd like a 2025 lineup with almost all post pandemic pros. 18 pros, something like this:
Men - Johannes, Kai, Nikita, Carlos, Vito, Graz's replacement, 3 new pros (1 benched)
Women - Katya, Nancy, Jowita, Lauren, Michelle, 4 new pros (1 benched)

If Johannes opts out, then let Gorka stay one more year, and if Katya leaves or gets another role, then let Amy stay one more year. For heaven's sake at least ditch Neil & Karen if nothing else.

Yes be nice to the poor men otherwise they might kill themselves, yet we will happily post messages across all SM platforms calling the woman vile names, claim they are lying and absolutely desecrating their character and encourage others to do so with zero regards for their mental health.
I despise people who have weaponised the word Kind. We all know what they really mean is STFU.

But Iā€™ve had to stop looking at the DM itā€™s seriously dragging me down! You guys are the only sane people around it would seem šŸ«¶

If any of the pros were ā€œin the firing lineā€ they would have been removed before now. This is why I hate the gutter press, they should stick to reporting facts such as the Zara and Graziano situation. They should stop reporting rubbish as itā€™s taking attention away from the actual important issues.

Nadiya - I think she is a fantastic dancer in pro routines but I find her really bland and unforgettable otherwise. I thought her sharing social media posts from fans kicking off that she has been benched last year was unprofessional too. I donā€™t think Iā€™d notice if she went.

Gorka - I know he has his fans here but I wouldnā€™t be bothered to see Gorka go. I feel like he has developed more of an attitude over the years. Although I will always appreciate his look to Dianne when she said felt safer being lifted by Booby than her fellow pros šŸ˜‚

Karen - I donā€™t get why she has never been benched. Another who is great in pro dances but I donā€™t find inspiring with a celeb. I know she was going through stuff last year but her attitude stank. She really let Eddie down and as for her ā€˜I just turn up on Monday and see what happens with choreographyā€™ šŸ˜³ I think she should be benched this year and itā€™s time to go.

Neil - I donā€™t think I need to say anything here as my love and devotion for our ginger prince is well documented.

Katya - I will be absolutely gutted if Katya goes. She remains one of the most creative choreographers and best teachers who can get the most out of duffers. Probably the best Strictly have ever had. Maybe behind the scenes she is an evil despot who makes everyoneā€™s lives a misery but I seriously doubt it.

The only one I would keep from that list is Katya. She is the only one who has not turned completely stale, every year you would think itā€™s her first given her dedication to making sure her celeb has the best experience regardless of ability. Nadiya is a sweetheart and an incredible dancer but if they are forced to pick between her and Kai I think sheā€™s in trouble, I love Gorka but he feels stale in terms of choreo (although his celebs do always seem to enjoy the experience regardless of how good they are), same with Karen as shown with Eddie last year. Neil speaks for itself šŸ˜‚

Marina said because so many people have been on and say it was so fantastic, it changed their life, it reawakened part of them they didnā€™t realise they needed means it now attracts people who feel they need that transformation. Those people are more likely to be vulnerable or have areas of their life they doubt which can make a very regimented training regime/being judged every week exacerbate those already existing concerns.

Secondly Richard said they will now need to show more struggles from the training rooms, maybe disagreements. The show has floated along being all sparkle and rainbows glossing over any tough points but those have now been revealed as always being there and as a production they need to lean into that and include it as part of the show. Not in a huge way, but acknowledging it is tough and not always smiles and laughter.

Kim Woodburn absolutely destroyed him that series, as well as multiple others including vile Jamie Oā€™Hara. He tried to clap back and laugh it off but you could tell Kimā€™s words genuinely hurt him.

Itā€™s so much better to just watch a bit later on iPlayer and skip those bits, especially in the first couple of weeks where thereā€™s loads of couples an it goes on forever
