I mean, come on - this is fine. Not dramatic at all. She was answering somebody's question and she was very clear that she is enjoying the show anyway and hopes everybody else does too.

When Gorka was stood with his arm around Nikita I was thinking that if I was Gemma, sat at home only a few weeks postpartum, I'd be bleeping fuming! The dancing is part of the job but that isn't. I can't remember who it was but on the launch show interviews with Claudia, one of the male celebs had his hand resting on his pro partners thigh while they were sat together- maybe I'm just a prude but how is that not something that should be reserved just for your romantic partner??

I completely understand why marital issues sometimes arise, it seems like when people go on Strictly they enter a bubble where normal relationship boundaries go out of the window

i always remember ben cohen’s then-wife talking about this and how she knew just from looking at him and kristina that something was going on. i know it’s an extreme example but it must hurt.

i’m also naturally a jealous person so i just don’t think i could do it 🤣 i know the dancers themselves are probably very practised and very experienced in being tactile like that but it would be a dagger to my heart every time.

As I said her message was nice, I didn’t mean dramatic from her but the fact she’s getting hundreds of messages means that people ( including myself) are feeding into it. I hope she can enjoy the rest of the series without this looming, is what I’m meaning

Ah fair enough - yeah, people need to shut up about it and move on. Maybe that's her way of asking people to draw a line under it?

i think this tbh! krishnan is also way more likeable (not that les isn’t but there’s a natural charm to krishnan imo) - and he and lauren are a really fun pairing. he’ll definitely start stealing the older guy who’s just trying his best votes from les 🤣
 
And Nancy is one of the quietest, most unassuming female pros. I can't really see her bringing out the big guns and going crazy with hilarious choreo in the same way as Lauren maybe (if it comes to it with Krishnan, the producers seem to like to have one comedy act all the way to Blackpool).

I think they'll try and have Nancy and Les be the comedy couple but I'm not sure they'll pull it off as well as a more OTT pro.

yep! zara and nikita are my two predictions tbh - after that i think adam probably won’t last long (though he was more likeable than i expected him to be!)
 
I don't follow tennis so I hadn't heard of her and she's the one I keep forgetting from the lineup.

Seen a few comments about her being a dark horse but I didn't actually think Annabel was that good, tbh. Graceful but you don't really want to be graceful in a CCC. Suspect her ballroom will be better.
