I doubt Bobby will be like Aston when he has no dance experience whatsoever when Aston had loads.

At this moment in time I think based on who will be in the final regardless then I would say Layton; a ringer always normally makes it to the final based on high judges scores or being a dance off assassin.

I think that poster is talking more about expectation rather than ability. A lot of people on social media are expecting Bobby to go far just like it was expected Aston would go far but look what ended up happening. At least that's what I took from that post.

I think its the wrong example to use Aston as he was an out and out ringer and therefore expecting to get to the final based on dance experience alone and not on like-ability. I personally only see Layton as a guaranteed place in the final obviously based on dance experience. If he was to be an shock exit then you can use Aston to compare to him.

I would say really only Nigel as the closest to getting a space in the final (alongside Layton) from being a liked actor; easy on the eye; and having a bit of dance/performance experience. I think Ellie, Bobby, Eddie and Angela are still 'up and coming' in the public eye so it's more of a wait and see to see what happens to them.

The expectation for Bobby to go far this year is still there regardless of the reason for it. It's the expectation part I'm talking about, not the reason for it. Honestly, watching the group dance, I don't know that any of them are guaranteed to be in the final, including Layton. As we saw with Aston, being a ringer doesn't always work in your favour.

True; it is there for a lot of people; I think its obviously unfair for him or anyone else to be in that position as its not really based on anything other than that they are a decent person.

I always take the group dance with a pinch of salt; there's people who have done horribly in that group dance and still won it! :LOL:
 
So ready for tomorrow but after a long work shift the 2 hr 20 min show is going to be a slog, think I will watch 15/20 minutes behind so I can skip some of the filler.
At the moment I have no feeling either way regarding the celebs and/or the partnership just hope to see the celebs trying to learn, enjoying the whole experience and the pro's having fun in their couple's.

I have already booked Saturdays off work for Blackpool, semi final and final so I am fully awake. I am going to miss Rylan on ITT but interested to see how Fluer does.
