Whoever is running the social media and website need the sack, I'm sorry but I feel like some people in power at the show are showing a lack of interest this year, first with the celeb reveals taking ages to start and now them not revealing the dances or updating the website.

The Twitter account is also no longer used. I know M*sk is crazy with the site, but several people still use it...

They used to spoil us with the dance reveals and First Steps videos so I'm confused at the overall apathy from the team now.

It appears the dances are meant to be under wraps for now by the looks of it. I've seen numerous stories and interviews this week were they keep mentioning not being allowed to say what dances they're doing.

But... why? Why did they announce some dances on the launch show and some pairs have now announced them in interviews?

I wonder if they stuffed up getting the rights for a song or somebody's had to change their dance at the last minute.

Yeah, not sure to be honest. Maybe it's something new they've decided to do? Give some details, but just not all. To create an element of surprise, perhaps?

I agree, Amy’s illness has hit them all like a freight train and Neil and Michelle have been very gracious about being on the bench. Nadiya hasn’t really read the room. I know she’ll be disappointed, but Strictly is a team . Nobody is bigger than the programme. I’m really hoping Amy is well enough to rejoin the team at some point, her post was absolutely heartbreaking. I lost my sister in law 3 years ago and struggle to watch them I have to be honest.

It is all very muted this year, maybe they have less staff working on the social media side this year.

Paso Doble seems like a weird choice for week one, has anyone ever been given that as a first dance before?

On the other hand, it might be a good one to get out of the way in a week where no one can vote.

I swear a few year ago they didn't give Paso to anyone until a few weeks until so they had a chance of learning some Dane technique first etc. And because it was such a difficult dance to do.

Stupid X Factor producer making a mess of the show.
