Not saying I believe this story but I wasn't exactly surprised to see what pro it apparently is.

Same, I was expecting to have to go to the DM comments for the gossip or have you lot spill the tea!

That's a shame, I didn't realise Gio was so strict, I hardly watch the VTs as most of the time they're not in the training room (unless that's changed back). I knew he was competitive. To be honest I wouldn't enjoy the Strictly experience if my pro was that stern 😕
 
Well, somebody is going to be feeling the wrath of Lady Lav. I hope the DM know what they’ve done there.

I would go with its just a run of the mill training room spat we used to see all the time when we used to get actual training footage.. Karen and Ramps had a doozy, as did Jade and Ian. Jade stropped off and came back the next day with a bunch of garage forecourt apology flowers
 
Gio’s enthusiasm peaked with his favourite partner Rose and of course winning the glitterball. Last year his behaviour wasn’t nice towards Richie (badly matched pair) and if this is anything to go by he’s no better this year. Maybe it’s time for Gio to hang up his Strictly shoes.

I don't know if I missed aspects of Richie's personality but I actually felt really sorry for him. He seemed to be really looking forward to the experience. Did he do an exit interview on ITT? Was he one of the ones who did his alone or am I mixing people up?

From memory Gio sat next to Richie on ITT and his body language was awful. Richie looked disappointed and sad but tried to keep it upbeat. Gio didn’t do a nice post about him after he got eliminated like is usually done. I felt sorry for Richie as he was so enthusiastic and a huge strictly fan. Even getting eliminated early was sad but I don’t think he took away good memories either

Same here: part of me is thinking it’s just the tabloids trying to whip up some drama ahead of the first ‘proper’ show; the other half of me thinks that this particular pro hasn’t got the greatest rep as far as partnerships go … 🤔
