Aww, cute! Nikita's sister's coming to watch him dance next week (according to Google translate, I don't know Italian!)

That’s just her personality - with nerves on top. My family are Irish so I’m used to the humour and the way of speaking that probably does sound exaggerated or like she is trying to be funny. I don’t think she was trying to be funny and not everyone will find her funny!
She will have to be a good dancer to win as she’s not the BBC pet like Stacey Dooley and the Republic of Ireland can’t vote for her!

She's pals with Vito, Graz etc as she dances on Ballando con le stelle. I looked up there to see if they have announced the new Ballando contestants and of the 8 announced so far, the youngest is 57! I predict another high-quality series full of lolling on chaise longues and people being hauled around like sacks of coal.

Well if they can manage to go without someone's arm being half off for the majority of the series it'll be a step up from last year :ROFLMAO: Bet Vito thanks his lucky stars every day he got out of there!

Yeh, she was very much herself on Saturday I thought. I adore Your Home/Garden Made Perfect and she’s just the same. She’s so affable & good humoured. I love her! Not sure she’ll be a great dancer but we’ll see!
 
I was away over the weekend so only just caught up with the launch show - looking forward to seeing more of Layton & Nikita and Angela & Carlos. Also enjoying Krishnan's approach to the show, and I was surprised by how likeable Zara was (though I guess neither of the shows I've seen her on focus on the nicer parts of people's personalities).

I was a little worried that Luba might be forced into Adam's 'fun' persona, but I just watched his stories and she's already yelled at him so I'm happy.

I was just going to say, Bobby seems like a nice enough lad but his arse hanging out like that seems more like something you'd see on a lads holiday than in a training room at work. It's strange though, in his interviews before the show and his NTA's speech he seems like he has a good head on his shoulders.

Honestly, I think Dianne could have been paired with Les and the trolls would still come for her.

He does seem intent on getting the gutter press involved which makes me feel bad that Dianne will end up the scapegoat. Nadiya would never have tolerated this nonsense from him - I actually think a more mature pro might have been a better fit having seen his behavior.

I'll be honest, he makes me ever so slightly nervous, and I imagine he'll be quite a handful in training 😬

Yes!

Is Dianne known as being quite strict? I felt, before the pairings happened, that he'd have been better with Nadiya for a mature, calming influence. Swap out Nadiya with Luba and the same applies with added strictness, but both ladies would probably have looked a mismatch with him.

I think, height difference aside, Dianne looks right, and it seems like the more obvious pairing, but hopefully she can keep him reigned in. I think he could be bloody exhausting, if I'm honest.

There are many users on here who make digs at Dianne constantly, so why is it suddenly a problem when it's another pro? 🙄
(For clarification, I'm aware Dianne has quite a passionate fanbase, but I'm not one of them- just can't help noticing that it's a pattern 🤷)
