yes, I think that’s what I’m not so keen on with him. He seems very big headed.

I mean, as long as they've never done ballroom or latin before I don't think it's too bad. You need people who are decent dancers at the start so you don't end up watching a load of people who are rubbish. It's just a bit of balance, Layton was up front about the fact he had been on the Westend to be fair to him.
 
I happily admit I want Layton twirling and spinning and leaping and jumpng and kicking his leg over his head in every dance (especially the VW) In whatever outfit he chooses. If you’re going to be a ringery ringer, be a ringery ringer with bells on. Don’t be shamefaced about and mutter how you got the Oliver for not really dancing <side eyes the chipmunk formally known as Nigel>. Embrace your ringerdom and just go for it.

Dan continues to weigh in 🤪 I get being disappointed but I feel like Nadiya’s reaction (especially her Insta post) is a wee bit less dignified than it could be considering it’s her job. Neil and Luba have spent years on the bench and have got on with it 🤷🏼‍♀️

I can’t believe she has me complimenting Neil, unforgivable.

I met him years ago when I was serving drinks at an event - he was the only orange juice while everyone else was having champagne so I handed it to him directly and he was so lovely. I think he'll be pretty rubbish but I hope he has a nice time.

If Layton can present himself well to the viewers, him and Nikita will be potential winners. But if he comes across as a bit too smug, a bit too much, the viewers will not take to him. And he will be regular dance off material. And be saved by the judges over and over. Either way, I have seriously high hopes for the performances these two would bring.

I feel like Layton is also the only celeb who could out dance Johannes if they were paired together.
 
I watched the launch with my son today as he was at his dad's last night.

An 8 year old's take:

- Craig is Snape
- Shirley is Big Bird
- Nadiya is beautiful 😍
- Dianne's hair is cool but not on her
- Neil is sus
- They all do evil hands
- Anton died?!
- Then Len must be Anton's dad
- Layton has cool boots and makeup
- Ellie is nice and pretty
- Les is funny
- Angela Rippon is a sparkly granny
- Hated Amanda as she's like a mean teacher
- Everybody makes stupid faces when they dance
- As the winner Hamza should replace all the pros and dance every dance with every celebrity even if he gets tired because that's what winners do and when he's finally too tired to dance, the person he's dancing with is the new winner
