Who doesn't miss this sort of reaction though?

I dare ANY of the current pros or celebs to react like this to their partner now under James & Gilkison.
 
Brendan wide legged skidding across the floor or a celeb male trying to life their pro and incidents occurring (Iwan Thomas and Ola. Domed From the start that one)

I also used to like the way you could tell which of the celebs had partaken freely of the hospitality to ‘settle their nerves’.

Lulu attempting to pull out of the show live on the launch show and Brendan having to fireman’s lift her to get her to stfu. Great times.

I think the last one I felt had definitely been on the sauce on launch night was Katie Derham, the posh, jolly BBC3 Classical/Proms presenter.

She was a delight throughout the show (and did a cracking rumba!), but had definitely had a little tipple to soothe her nerves on a couple of ocassions, and who can blame her, dancing with Anton for 12 weeks straight, bless her.

I just googled him and he was a lot more attractive in my memory 😭
 
I think with Tristan part of it was down to the fact that he took the show for what it was, a bit of fun, not the end of the world if you get voted off. He was actually a great partner for Jamelia in the end because of it. Also, he just had that something about him, imo opinion anyway.
 
I don't remember Tristan being that good. I think he came into Strictly with sympathy from being the Anton of DWTS and then of course brought us one of the funniest ITT interviews in SCD history. But outside of that, he was nothing to write home about IMO.

I never had a ‘phwoar’ thing for Tristan, but what made him attractive in general was a) the Irish accent (my absolute weakness in a man 🥵) + b) the fact that he literally did not give a duck about playing the Strictly ‘game’ and wittering on about ‘sparkly happy friends for life blah blah blah’.

Anyone else remember the time he didn’t wear a poppy and there was a national outcry?
