Matt was very sweet. Rylan established a great rapport with him on ITT, he used to look visibly relaxed when chatting with Rylan.

It was really nice too, when he mentioned very briefly on the night that he was leaving, that his mother would have been proud of him, or happy for him to have had the opportunity to do Strictly. He didn't make a sob story out of it, it came across very quietly and sincerely.

Rylan very obviously fancied the pants off him! He followed him, which is highly unusual as Rylan hardly follows anyone.

I have a feeling that Rylan is going to be who I really miss this year. I like Fleur, and think she will do a good job with the routine up beat presenting, but there’s just something about Rylan that let’s him see past the obvious and get below the surface in a empathic way.

Same.

I love Rylan anyway - I think he has a great way of establishing a natural connection with people. Back in the day when he did Big Brother Bit On The Side, he was excellent in the way that he could hit the right tone with people after they were evicted. He would always end up having them laughing about something in the end.

I like Fleur too and I am sure she will make her own mark on the programme.
But I will still miss Rylan.
