Moles told you that personally, did they Dave? Or did you just read it on DS like everyone else?

Speaking of Vicky Gill reminds me of poor Ellie S being shown a dress on ITT that looked like something Mrs Doubtfire might wear. To her eternal credit, she managed to say something positive about it.
I think on the night, it didn't look quite as crappy as it did on ITT.

I mean, most people would have guessed she would have been there in some capacity since she posted on her instagram that she was at one of the pre records.

She was there but didn't dance while i was there. She had her photo taken with the judges and pros dressed in a similar outfit but rushed off after that.

oh don’t! I remember the days of poor Tina O’Brien who was infantilised terribly. I mean the poor lass was a mother herself but she was given the most unthreatening one series pro ever and had Tess in full awww icckle face mode. Of course, she didn’t help herself by going and catching chicken pox off her daughter, but even so.
Oh yeah, I didn't think she would dance but more of a show her face type thing.

someone in work reminded me the other week that letitia dean had done it and i literally have no memory of her.i’m trying to recall other one series pros now. did gleb just do the one uk series? i remember richie mccaw’s then girlfriend (hayley?) only doing one too, and the guy who danced with pixie lott. or did he do two?!

Yeah I’m not sure. He does have a childlike side - I just don’t know here well enough to know if they’ll gel. I imagine there will be a lot of him trying to understand her saying ‘Joomp!’ à la the Blessed Georgia May Foote.
I do hope there isn’t a showmance: he managed to lose the Italian stallion label last year but it wouldn’t take much to restart it. I’d have preferred another happily married lady partner like Angela S. (Having said that one of his recent breakfast pics had 2 bowls so maybe there is a now a low-key Signora Vito)

I'm excited for the show again now that it's confirmed Nancy and Krishnan aren't together! I'm sure Nancy is lovely but I find her intensity off-putting. Her and Len are going to be... quite something. I also think Krishnan will be a good partner to allow Lauren to get her personality across.
Happy that Katya has someone that can do something and that Karen has a partner that seems pleasant and actually fun! I love Nikita so I hope that Layton grows on me. Anticipating that Gio and Amanda will be insufferable so will use their time to catch up on the thread. I hope that Zara ends up being a pleasant surprise because I love Graziano. Also hoping that the lack of love for female Nikita - although I think she seems fine - means an early exit for Gorka (sorry, I just don't find him endearing - cold and borderline unpleasant, actually!). On the other hand, I think Bobby will be very popular, meaning plenty of uninspiring Dianne routines.

Gleb just did one series, and Pixie was with Trent Whiddon. I have a feeling he was brought in at short notice to cover for someone who dropped out. I think he wanted his wife to be part of the show the next year, Strictly said no, so he didn’t either. Although he was The man’s dancing feet for the trailer the other year,when they had just had shoes dancing down the street. The woman‘s feet were Anya Garnis (another one seasoner).
I think at least 2 or 3 of the series one pro’s didn’t come back and ther was a clutch about series 3 who only appeared once. Hayley Holt who partnered Mark Foster was a one serieser as well.

Oh dear god. I have to wonder if these fans are some of the real crazies from DS - that Nadiya fan in particular made me uncomfortable. I appreciate many of the pros and their work but they are people and 100% deserve their space and privacy.
How do they even find out their addresses? I've never been that big of a fan of someone that I'd go to the bother of looking up their address. Notice how when these stories come out though it always seems to be about the female pros? I don't think I've ever heard of the male pros have something like this happen.
I should add that being a big fan of someone would make me want to respect their privacy even more.
