Wtfff, someone on the Spoiler group just showed Amanda's horribly blistered feet and my goodness, I could have gone my whole life without seeing that close-up. I like her even less now if she's going to be the type to show us gross things all the time NO THANK YOU SCABBINGTON 🤢🤢🤢

I don't know why but "Don't spoil it for other people" juxtaposed with that pic is HILARIOUS to me.
 
Two things can be the truth simultaneously, one poster may have perceived her as warm and friendly and the other may not. We all have alternate perceptions of reality to one another and interpret situations differently. I have to say I was seated rather close to the performers entrance on the strictly tour and she was a stone throw away from the audience several times, she was the only one who didn’t even look up at the crowd when others waved from the entrance section prior to the pro dance. The only one.

That doesn’t mean I think she is a nasty person or dislike her whatsoever but there was an element of superiority and almost arrogance that surrounded her I felt

I guess it's all about perception I could say the same thing about Jowita when I went to see the tour this year; I felt she was the least engaged with the audience compared to the other pro's, didn't really interact with audience compared to the others and remember seeing her brush past and not wave.

I also feel that doesn’t mean I think she is a nasty person or dislike her but it means that could be perceived as arrogance as well. However as there is literal video and photo evidence of both Jowita and Dianne smiling and interacting with fans on tours I think its safe to say that a one person glance or stare at a person for a moment in time does not define that person as a whole.

I would agree. Its actually that not easy to find spoilers. Unless you actively try to find them.

Even here, people have put discussions regarding couples in spoilers.

So you don't need to read it unless you click on the spoiler.


And personally, I do actively seek out the results on a Saturday night cos of my condition. It's called being a nosy cow!!!
 
I will say again what I say every year. The BBC are more than happy with the spoilers. It gives them lots of lovely publicity and actually sends people who probably wouldn’t bother off to seek them out.

It would be an easy fix to have a truncated results show later on Saturday night, but that’s not what they want. It was acceptable in the very young days of the show when the phone lines stayed open all week in order to get the votes started up again but that’s not an issue now. There’s no way they would do a live show on Sunday… the logistics and cost of getting the entire cast, crew and an audience back for a results show is just too much, especially as it’s the only free day the celebs and pros actually have. So, they are more than happy with what they have. tag the cost of a results show into the overall cost of the Saturday show and then sit back with the knowledge they have 3 months’ worth of a Sunday prime time slot that regularly brings in a 40%+ audience share essentially for free pencilled in and if a couple of corners of the internet know what’s occurring, then it’s not really affecting anything.
 
I think the spoilers are handled respectfully by most people - I only know who is with how because I have looked for it on Juliet’s group and on here. On here I have pressed on the little spoiler boxes to see what people were saying. I haven’t seen it anywhere else yet.

I know people do pop up on newspaper comments and say, but most people seem to understand that some people don’t want to know.

What frustrates me more is those who post in the spoiler group that they don’t want to know and we have ruined it for them, it is literally in the name of the group!

You get those folks every year, it’s ridiculous. As people always comment, you have to choose to join the private spoiler groups and go through the rules page before being accepted, so you can’t join by accident.

I still find that so funny, it’s in my top three Strictly Unintentionally Funny Moments of all time:

3. Craig thinking Anton’s Austin Power teeth were part of his costume.

2. Weel Mellorrrr (as pronounced by Gorka) reassuring his (almost) adult children that he was ok - not marking himself safe from a terrible disaster, just butthurt that the Judges didn’t rate his moves.

1. Tom Fletcher’s face when he slowly realised his barefoot wafting had not gone down well with the Judges. Bonus laughs at dedicating said dance to his sister who is alive and well and sees him fairly regularly (Uncle Tom 😳).

If there isn’t a Will or Tom this year, I really don’t think I can watch it. But there will be, and that’s one thing Adam is definitely in the running for 😬
