Right? I can't imagine she was picked for any reason to do the speech she dashed for the microphone as if it was a race nice to mention Amy but then didn't invite her to say a few words or let any of the pros say something either it's their job

She is going to be unbearable in a few weeks time hope the contestants are good at listening because they'll hardly get a word in edge ways
And then there's janette too who no doubt won't stop mentioning her baby and c section every two minutes and rushes back into things too quick.
No reason they couldn't find someone to cover for a while but she wants the attention.

ITT going to be unbearable what a bad combo ! Motor mouth Fleur and Janette . Janette was manic when she was a dancer when they did the voting is open every time she went mad like a Duracell bunny hyper and super irritating…please don’t return !

I think they probably gave the speech to Fleur to introduce her as the new presenter of ITT, therefore a kind of spokesperson for the show. I think she did well.

Fleur got a bloody hard time on the show last year (looking at you Shirl) but kept going and kept her head up. I find that admirable. Being next to Vitos sweaty sexy chest hair may have helped her get through it.

ETA - my point being that it rather pleases me that Fleur got the ITT gig. Good on her

I liked Fleur in the end, fun dances and a cute partnership with Vito. ITT has always had relatively loud presenters, this is nothing new.

I hated HRVY simply for the stupid pretentious way he spelled his name

I do really like Fleur & Janette, just not sure on their presenting skills. I agree about HRVY too, Bill was great but I feel like he would never have won if we weren’t all stuck in lockdown and wanting a feel good winner.
