I'd say Vito for Angela.

Could be Graziano, I do think it will be one of the Italians but I'm not convinced Gio would try hard enough for someone pushing 80. At 5'6, a tad tall for Gorka, I don't think Carlos or Johannes are a fit for her (too flamboyant), Nikita looks too young. Kai would have been good but he had Kaye last year.

Angela is more flamboyant than you think, Jojo could be a good fit actually.

Neither did Kai for Kaye, in fact he didn’t do anything after week 1. No post of their ITT appearances, no silly tik toks or fun posts of rehearsals. Compare it to his 2021 posts of the same time. His stories with Kaye were quite fun but his posts told a different story.

It doesn't feel the same though because they clearly got on very well and as you say they were having a fun time in their stories. There was warmth in their exit interview and they did some posts together after they'd left the competition. I agree there was more posted in 2021 but It just seems Kai doesn't post much on Instagram or social media anymore for whatever reason, it would be nice if he did use it a bit more again.

Vito and Jowita on Morning Live talking about the pro tour - seems odd they’re promoting it now? Vito talked about Gorka and Nikita shaving his chest. J says her dream Strictly celeb partner would be Hugh Grant

Because for a business the sooner the money is out of the customer’s account and in your account, the better, especially given that the current economic climate doesn’t suggest that people are going to have more disposable income a few months down the line.
 
I think it’s smart they are selling the tickets for the pro tour now and starting to promote it. I see Anton and Gio have also announced their 2024 tour. Definitely choosing the pro tour over A&G. I was really impressed by the pro tour this time. I did see last year Him and Me, for me too gimmicky.

I just imagine it being like the Italy programme but with cheesy singing and mustard velvet blazers🤷🏼‍♀️

I suspect they are annoyed OUAT is happening, so Kai is unavailable for pro tour ( he’s only done pro tour once and suddenly thinks he’s too good for it? It was meant to be his great ambition to be on it) , so they are making sure they get the tickets sold first, especially as Gio and Jojo tours are already selling out for next year.

Another thing , I see Strictly trialed a rival to Donehays this year, I wonder if they are hoping to expand that as I know they aren’t happy with that set up and Donehays using the Strictly name and reputation. Obviously the pros can dance whereever they like outside of the show ( and they need to make hay while the sun shines), but they have to be careful not to reference Strictly in a commercial setting, it’s a bit of a minefield for them.

What gives you the impression Kai thinks he’s too good for the pro tour? If i’m a dancer on strictly and i’m given the opportunity to have my own tour then i’m taking that over any group one 100%. I seriously doubt anyone at strictly is annoyed 🤣

I’m wondering if they have another tour set to be announced, maybe something we haven’t seen before? Maybe that’s why they want pro tour announced now so that all focus can be on any potential new one in the next few months.

Hopefully not - the market is saturated, exhausting to keep up with so many tours already!

It was reported at the time that Strictly weren’t happy with either of them swerving the pro tour. Can’t find the article now but definitely remember it being said. Gio and Jojo did their stint on pro tour for a few years, as has Nadiya. Launching into a tour of his own when he’d only done one season of Strictly , basically seemed very ott, especially when they based it on their relationship that was only a few months old at the time they must have launched the idea. Janette and Aljaz waited several years first , and were married before they did theirs. Same with Neil and Katya, and even Kevin and Karen.

I’m wondering if they have another tour set to be announced, maybe something we haven’t seen before? Maybe that’s why they want pro tour announced now so that all focus can be on any potential new one in the next few months.

Possibly one like Strictly Presents. It would be brilliant to bring Fleur, Molly, Tyler and that gang together for one, like they did last year with Maisie, Max and Rhys. The singing would be excellent anyway.

Not much this point of the year though, late June- late July. Last year had Here Come the boys, Burn the floor the reunion, Him and Me and Strictly Presents.

I don't think a show like that would sell. None of those contestants were all that high in the votes and they'd need to get some half decent pros in to sell tickets. The version last year had Nancy, Jowita (this was pre-Hamza so wasn't known then), Neil & Cameron, that was never going to work.

There is a lot of history for that particular tour. Originally Dianne, Janette and Amy were going to be part of the tour, back in 2019 when it was going to be 2020 ( might be 2020 first launched, certainly far in advance). The pandemic messed all the tours up. By the time it was pushed to 2022 Di and Janette were contracted to the Burn the floor reunion which had already been bounced 2 years. Amy was getting married and otherwise busy. Jowita had won Greatest Dancer and along with Cameron had done a year on Strictly. Maisie was a finalist who was often second on the live tour that had just finished, Max had just done a stadium tour with The Wanted so had a huge amount of fans who would buy tickets. Neil actually has one of the highest number of followers on insta of the pros and nancy and rhys were semi finalists. It actually sold better than Here Come the boys who cancelled several shows on their run. The pandemic did mean too many tours together at the same time. I saw BTF and Strictly Presents ( the one I went to was packed) .
The reason I suggest Fleur/Molly/Tyler is that they all bring their own fans, F&M could carry the singing part well ( and were finalists) and Tyler ( who was very popular on the live tour like Max was) would be entertaining. Di/Carlos/Vito would be obvious pros but they could mix it up a bit. I’m just throwing the idea out there,
