I think Gio's best bet is going into choreography or production - he clearly knows how to sell tickets to a certain demographic and is a great choreographer when he can be bothered. He just doesn't have the personality to be an presenter and I doubt his fragrance is going to be much of a money spinner

I can see JoJo doing really well in some sort of media career - he's so charismatic and charming

I guess the thing is, as has been said before, you only realise how hard presenting is when you see Janette someone doing it badly. None of them would be up for presenting something like The Traitors or Eurovision.

I just don’t see it for Gorka any more. Gone too far in the ‘gym bro’ direction for me.
He needs the longer hair or blonde hair back.

I mean, it’s no surprise that a lot of them struggle for work after Strictly, they are dancers but rather than sticking to their career and industry (becoming teachers, comp judges etc) they decide to do something new with no training eg acting or presenting. I never understand it, I wouldn’t randomly turn around one day and decide to turn my hand at acting so I don’t really understand why they do… maybe they should try and get a “proper” job when the work dries up rather than a glitzy media job

I’m surprised more of them don’t open dance schools: Karen Hardy and Iveta are both doing very well on that front. I suppose a lot of them make the mistake of thinking that their ‘fame’ transcends their dance background, ignoring the fact that their dance background is the primary factor contributing to their fame.

That said, there’s always the Aliona career option: ‘marry a really rich bloke’.

That said, there’s always the Aliona/Katya Virshilas career option: ‘marry a really rich bloke’.

Katya V's husband is a fellow dancer (from Denmark), not sure he is worth millions. Think they're based in Hong Kong now. Apparently Erin Boag was another to marry a rich guy.

I do wonder though why more don't go for dance schools. As you say, others have done well with that, and being an ex Strictly pro is undoubtedly going to attract more customers than otherwise.
