All because they don’t follow him on instagram 😂 That man is held at gun point once a week to post a meditation video and then dips. I don’t think he uses the app at all outwith that, journalism really is at an all time low.
Hardly held at gun point once a week😂 that account is specifically for his coaching job and thats his schedule for posting.

I think the fail need to try a bit harder it's a professional page for all things meditation and updates on his classes (I mean it's pretty clear it's not where he shares his family, pets and home life etc) personal accounts he holds across sm are definitly kept private but funny that the papers think the cast don't have each other numbers or a group chat to communicate etc.

A couple more random pics from the last few days on insta. Can’t believe we have to wait a month nearly till the tour starts! Sob.
(Also Gorka did a Q+A on insta where he said he'd love to come back next year, and praised all the finalists so I think he is not on the Gio 'what is Strictly? I don't know her' train)

This came up on my Twitter this morning (I recommend going and reading the full thread it’s quite interesting!) but this one caught my eye. Removing the showdance seeing as it’s the final and a shoe in for tens, it will be no surprise to anyone on here that couples choice is the highest average scoring dance, then AT which I presume is because when done right it’s a total showstopper and only normally done in the second half with better celebs.

I do think it’s interesting that it’s 2 specialist dances that come out on top with the more traditional ballroom and latins nowhere to be seen…anyway thought it was a good discussion point haha

Gorka seemed to enjoy strictly this year and came across as just wanting to enjoy his job, he also seemed to have fun on the pro tour. He made sure Nikita had an enjoyable time. He did what a good pro should do. Strictly should be about the celeb and the pro is there to ensure they get the best out of their celeb and that their celeb has an enjoyable experience. Why I liked this year is that it felt more about which celeb should lift the glitter ball rather than which pro should.

Yep, he may be a bit more low key than some other pros, but Gorka has always made sure the duffers he's been partnered with have had a good experience on the show (see also Katie Piper), and done outstanding choreography and got to the finals with the ringers he's been partnered with. He's also been really supportive of the new pros, especially during the final last year. He just seems to get a lot of stick on here for looking a bit moody sometimes 🤷😆

Yes, I will be forever a Gorka stan 😜. Good to see he says he wants to come back next series

Yes I agree, forever Gorka Stan here too. I’m think he has resting witch face and let’s face it he’s allowed to be upset if he doesn’t win something he dedicates his life to. He looked sad after he lost last year and that’s ok.
All the pros look gutted when they’re eliminated but when it’s the final they’ve to stand and smile and look delighted when they lose.
I hope he’s back next year and gets a good run again because I think he’s amazing at bringing the best out of his partners.

Fellow forever Gorka stan here too...I don't quite get the hate he gets on here sometimes...because he dared look a bit disappointed last year! He's joked himself in interviews that he has rbf and often looks pissed off even when he isn't!
I think it's totally unfair to lump him with Gio and say he's checked out...he's a great pro that always seems to get the best from his celebrity while making sure they have a good time..and he seems to genuinely get on with the other pros (we cant hold a friendship with Gio against him) and he does a lot of the backstage photography we all love!

Plus, he's hot and his arse is immaculate 🍑👌🏻

Oh I can dance with Nikita & Layton in Manchester now! That’s even more tempting as I don’t live far away!

I don’t mind Gorka, he’s not my fav but his bitchiness is kinda amusing. I’m not sure I need to see him go just yet, the male pros had enough of a shakeup recently. They need to focus on the female lineup!

fully agree with this - and i don’t think it’s fair for his name to come up with gio in terms of them both being checked out of the show or whatever. gorka has always been respectful and patient with his partners and makes sure they have a good experience (look at how fondly katie piper still speaks of him); plus he just seems genuinely still engaged with the show as a whole.

his obvious disappointment last year shouldn’t be held against him imo! as said above, the main changes should come with the female pros.

Big lol at Strictly doing a whole post about all the 'records' broken this series. Apart from Ellie being the youngest winner ever - which is an actual proper record and amazing achievement - the rest are just a bit silly

Annabel has the highest scoring week seven couples choice ever, apparently. How many week seven couples choice routines have there been exactly?
