I saw Aljaz & Janette last Night. Such beautiful dancing & we were lucky enough to be Front Row (Last Year they ended up moving us 😭)
The Female Singer Miranda i'm sure I saw in Grease in the late 90s

Is it true Bobby has got tap in his showdance? Tap? That's not something you can learn in a week and ought to be left to somebody who knows what they're doing rather than shuffling about clacking a bit.

I reckon that's how we know the routine was previously mapped out for Nigel, who can tap.

Shirley :

You 'young man' are an absolute star and the king of ballroom and if you want to clack about on Nigel Harman's grave then i young man am all for it !!
*Stands up and claps herself silly *

People take it way too seriously! It is entertainment, not life and death!

Wayyyyyy back in the day - the Kartem year - I got a temporary ban on DS for suggesting that some people were too overinvested in a light entertainment show

The person who probably reported me actually sent me a message saying "HOW DARE YOU DICTATE HOW PEOPLE SHOULD FEEL", in all caps and everything 😂

Mental.

I can understand it with say Amanda but Nigel doing a video message saying 'god I miss the show and kat we had so many good things planned' should tell them all they need to know (and the fact he's even coming back to the show is also a pretty big clue )

This isn't on FB btw my MH can't take that cess pit i just do Instagram and Tattle for my socials, its actually an account on IG where the person running it is dictating on stories what we all should and shouldn't be doing in light of his 'treatment'...... absolutely nuts .
I assumed it was probably the Digital Spy Appreciation Thread, though there are certainly plenty of nutters on Facebook, lol.

Yep, absolutely bonkers, as you say, surely it's a big clue that he's coming back for the group dance, but I suppose they'll just say he was bullied into that too somehow. They'll surely pick apart every microsecond of his appearance in the Final and use it as proof of everyone hating him no matter what happens.

A bunch of them are convinced that Nigel's singled out for cruelty at every turn - e.g their withdrawal being announced on the live show and then it not being mentioned again in the results show was intended to sweep his departure under the rug as quickly as possible. While I do think it would have been a nice gesture to throw in one more sentence about everyone being sad they had to withdraw, seeing as it was the same day, it can't be unfair when they don't mention anyone else who's had to withdraw again after the initial announcement.

Oh and him being there high on pain, can't be that he wanted to come in, no they sadistically forced him and would never treat anyone else that way. Never mind AJ hobbling around on crutches doing all the Final week interviews when everyone had to know perfectly well she wouldn't be able to dance.

When Tilly couldn't appear in the group dance in the Final because she had Covid they didn't acknowledge her at all, can only imagine the meltdown that would ensue if Nigel's injury was too bad for him to appear in the Final and then they didn't mention him 😂

Tap? Why would they give him that? As you said, it's not something you can learn in a week.

I'm feeling pretty sorry for Bobby at this point. I'm sure he would likely have preferred a jumping about street dance over trying to tap dance in 3 and a half days just because they couldn't be bothered clearing a new song for him, while Dianne scrolls Facebook searching for floating voters to hit over the head with her Glitterball campaign speech about Bobby's amazing ~J O U R N E Y~ from NDB to Ballroom King.

I think it's a good choice for him - I doubt there'll be more than a few steps of tap, nothing like a proper routine - he'll get to waft about, prob do a bit of quickstep, do a soft shoe shuffle and the Beryls will swoon.

I can honestly say the only social media i do is Instagram and Tattle.

On my life my MH can't take either FB or DS I just can't engage in that level of anything.

I've been happily a part of a very tame IG fan account from the start of his SCD journey but the moment Nigel had to leave it just went off - comments of this must end now as a series , the bullying of this man, do not watch, boycott, formal complaints to the BBC need to be sent on mass, they have damaged his life .

Meanwhile Nigel at home recovering does a happy but knackered video post of 'oh I wish this hadn't happened, I love this show , I want to be back there dancing with Kat'

The person then running the account starts saying on stories exactly what is now acceptable and not acceptable to comment on there Re the show in light of his mistreatment so totally not hearing what he said himself.

Anyway now your less of a fan if you still watch as true fans boycotted or some such shite

(Sorry for long reply btw)

No problem, mine was kind of long too.

Lol, yeah unfortunately sounds the same as the DS thread. It's awful the crap the tabloids made up about him, but boycotting Strictly's hardly going to fix that is it. Ridiculous to completely ignore his statements; it's so obvious in the withdrawal interview and last ITT interview that he was gutted to have to leave.
