James Jordan is trying to keep him and his wife relevant through his tweets and posts. They are unemployed dancers with no earning potential. They have had to introduce a subscription based fitness plan to get any income. Layton has more talent and charisma than James could ever hope to have or has ever had. Laytons career is on the massive up, James’s is dead in the water. The end.
 
I do worry Bobby might win - lots of comments on FB and insta about him. His samba goes down well, and CC, so if he has a good showdance vs Ellie's medley he could nick it. :cautious:
The female pros are supporting Dianne I think - comments from Katya and Nancy in particular. I can see why: also she has been around for ages so they know her best and will be loyal to her. Plus am sure they'd love to see another female pro win.

On another note either Ellie has mixed up her strawberry emoji from the paso routine, or we are going to get some good trousers for Vito this weekend 🤤

Well Shimmy Jimmy (as I’ve seen him referred to on DS) needs to wind his neck in. I go on YouTube and the only things that pop up for him are his critiques of a job he left 10 years ago and videos of him and his wife jiving in shopping centres.

It was DVO who christened him Shimmy Jimmy 😀

He also came third with he not-quite-as-but-still-a-bit-ringery Pamela Stephenson … although I think she did actually terrify him.
 
I dont mind who lifts the glitterball as long as the dances in the final entertain and hopefully will get at least one good showdance from Layton. I’m really hoping Ellie’s isn’t a cheesy showdance to the JLO megamix. It is going to need to be different to her couples choice.

I just don't understand people getting a negative opinion of Layton's personality from his time on the show. He's always been warm, funny, open to criticism and greatly respects his partner. Not once has he done anything to suggest he's a diva or thinks he's better than anyone else - watch him in the Clauditorium and he is the celeb bigging up the others, giving them hugs and cheering the loudest for everyone else. Any "ooh he's a diva and he'll throw a hissy fit" remarks are just cloaked homophobia.

I'm getting a bit Kevin of Grimsby vibes from some of the other Pros, Diane the Pro deserves the win. :cautious:
A pros length of service shouldn't have anything to do with winning the Glitter Ball if we are going to focus on a Pro then their teaching and choreography should be what is considered alongside the relationship they have nurtured with their celebrity.

Yeah, but half of those comments are written by Dianne :LOL: I'm always a bit 😬 about pros making it obvious who they want to win, they did it last year with Gorka, it was all 'Gorka should win, Gorka is the best, love Gorks so much'. Way to make the other pros feel supported. Surely as one big happy family, a win for one pro is a win for them all? 😏

There does seem to be a feeling that the longer serving pro’s ’deserve’ it or have ‘earnt it’ more … which is ridiculous really. Some pro’s have won it on their first year (Artem, Aljaz) and some of the best pro’s of all didn’t win at all. I mean there must have been upwards of 60 pros take part over the 21 series, and 2 of them have won twice. That leaves 40 sat looking at a blank space in the trophy cabinet

Get a pro who has been on the show 6 or 7 years without a win in the final and they and everyone around them seem to go cuckoo. If Karen ever gets to the final again it will be carnage.

I did wonder what Gio's reaction to being told Vito would be Elvis, doesn't he have a bit of a thing for Elvis and Freddie Mercury?
Vito was a perfect Elvis. Gio's features are just a bit too delicate to play Elvis imo.

I do wonder if there is a general feeling amongst the Pros of the old guard v the new kids, but surely as a big happy family that would never be it. :censored:
I could be projecting but up in the Clauditorium Nikkita & Layton & Vito and Ellie seemed delighted that they all got to the final together especially the surprise of Layton not being in the dance off. It was lovely to see 💓
 
I don't normally bother arguing with people on twitter, but this has got to be the funniest exchange I've ever had. This head just randomly decided to unmask himself as his real issue of course being nothing to do with the professional dancer thing. Absolutely mind-boggling to imagine what kind of reply he really expects me or anyone to give to that. I just blocked him. 🤷‍♀️
