I really don’t just get it. Maybe because most of my major crushes took place in the 1970’s and the chances of stumbling across any of them in the arse end of beyond were nil and if you should happen to save enough from the Saturday job to hang round a stage door, you stood more chance of being told to piss off than being fleeced the contents of your wallet for a grim faced photo. As a life lesson, it‘s served me well.

This girl is going to stage door so not paying beyond her ticket but she is literally there every night, front row, went to Donaheys. He must just grin and bear it thinking of the money 🙈

She made some pretty inappropriate comments to him in front of nadiya at donaheys too, weirdo

That girl is a student, and just posted that she went into her overdraft to see Kai and Nadiya's show so many times. I myself wasted a lot of money as a student, but at least it was mostly on nights out and booze..
It seems to make her feel better, and I get that there is a community of fans on SM which is nice, but I do feel that staking your mental health on a Strictly pro is a dicey game..
 
I must be the only person who has never heard of Amanda Abbington, or indeed any of the other 'big' acting names they've had like Caroline, Greg or Will.

And to be honest, given how the 3 of them came across on the show, I'd rather not bother. I really do think the actors who have had moderate success outside of soaps come with a massive ego, in some cases covered up by the 'luvvy' act. But Digital Spy always seems to think it's important to get big acting signings on. I don't really get it. I'd rather signings who are more 'accessible' to the average viewer.

Yeah, I quite like Amanda, but I unfollowed her a while back because she was coming across as a bit weird. It's awful what happened to her partner, but he seems like an odd, intense bloke too

She would be an interesting Strictly booking though. She doesn't seem to have any problem telling people exactly what she thinks...

The article was a bit vague in its wording, but she's liked a tweet about it so who knows

Will and Caroline, I would have assumed to be very well known names. Greg, I'd vaguely heard of but couldn't place him.
Amanda Abbington falls into the latter category for me. I've just looked her up. I've watched some of the shows she's been in, but can't place her in them. Although, I'm a latecomer to Sherlock and have only watched the first two series so far.

Not just a Strictly pro but any celebrity really. It may make someone feel better short term but going into your overdraft for it seems a bit extreme to me and could end up having a negative effect in the end.

I’d put her in the quite a routine Strictly signing slot along with the likes of Zoe Lucker and Laila Rouass really.
 
Tonight’s the night! Gio is marrying Rose live on stage/his pleather trousers are greeting stuck on a la Ross from Friends/he’s appearing at the Palladium (delete as appropriate).
