Have Janette & Aljaz just announced a tour in December? She’s mad! She’ll only be what, 4/5 months post birth. Hopefully it’ll all go smoothly but there’s no guarantee. Plus, I was so sleep deprived at 5 months still I could barely walk straight, let alone dance in a professional show where I had to remember multiple dances on tour around the country!

I know I saw the ad for that last night. They are self employed at the end of the day and no work = no pay. They are presuming she doesnt need an emergency section or has any issues after too

I saw a few negative comments under her post, people were acting like they are planning on leaving a 4 month old baby alone at home 🤣 The reality is these people need to tour as much as they can, it’s probably their main source of income outside of Janette doing ITT so they have to take every chance they get to do it. A lot of the time dancers bounce back quicker considering their fitness levels, happened with a lot of the DWTS pros.

She's doing It Takes Two as well.
 
I do get it but I also think it’s a bit sad. They’ve longed for this baby for so long and she can’t even take 6 months off. Aljaz could have surely toured with another dancer like so many of them do. If the very random pairing of Gorka & Karen can sell a tour, anyone can 😅 Won’t she get some maternity leave from the BBC?

I imagine she’ll bounce right back so long as her section goes well but there’s no telling how well your baby sleep & how exhausted you are likely to feel. Everyone tells you you’ll be more tired than you can ever imagine & it’s true. You literally cannot imagine it. My first was a horrendous sleeper, I remember going back to work at 11 months & being so sleep deprived, I could barely see the screen. I got sent home a few times because I was so exhausted. She’s 6 now & still a rubbish sleeper but thankfully, doesn’t disturb us anyone! My second loves sleep, so every cloud 😂

I hope it works out for them. I still think she’s a bit mad. There’s going back to a minimally active job with a baby & there’s going back to dancing & touring round the country in different hotels & beds with a 4 month old baby. I think she might find it harder than she might imagine!

If it’s anything like last year they only did about 13 dates so quite manageable with a little one. I’m guessing maybe one of their parents will come over to help out.

She’s not actually employed by the BBC? If She is self employed that is for her to sort out, not them.

I would imagine that at least a night time nanny will be featuring in the childcare plans
 
The Mail are reporting Nigel Harman in the line up 👀. I do like the idea of an older male ringer. And also, he's a bit of a looker so no complaints here

Interesting that the Sun now have no mention of Bobby Brazier in any of their rumours round ups so I guess that fell through, or was bollocks in the first place
