Great news! I was hoping she was in the running for the main Bake Off job, but this is the next best thing. This show really needs a comedian presenting it. I don't mind Stacey Solomon but she was not a good fit for it

Omg there’s internicine warfare on one of the FB groups. Someone made an unflattering comment about Gio’s physique in his beach pics and then his defenders have come out in force.

Then someone else has brought out receipts where some of the same #bekind people were apparently liking/commenting on Sam’s dad’s FB page after the final uncomplimentary things about Sam and Rose! Madness.

She is, it looks really cool actually. She’s also doing a Christmas special comedy thing on Gold with some quite big names.

John Whaite has a book coming out that I really want to read as someone that has liked him since his bake off win.

ETA: was a little surprised that it wasn’t C4 or the BBC that locked her into something bigger, but good for ITV. She has her documentary out soon on the beeb.
