Ha, yeah that is part of a Beyonce vs Barry Manilow dance battle bit they do which is pretty funny. Here's a good clip of it 😁

Fantastic
Looking at the clips online, I’m surprised there hasn’t been outrage from the Gio fans that Vito has taken one of his ‘iconic’ ballroom routines - Chasing Cars with Dianne, a la the Karen/Luba fans who frothed about the live tour AT. But maybe they don’t even pay attention to the pro tour when he’s not on it

I didn’t even place it as one of his, I thought it was one of Gorka and Maisie’s 🤣

A few more pro tour videos 💃

I've been looking for a video of Luba's Paso 😍

The Way You Look Tonight

Vito whipping his trousers off 😁

Cowboys 🤠

Shirtless Gorka and Nikita 😁

And some more Vito and Neil 😁

I’m a bit split on it all- when I haven’t gone to tours I really love watching wee vids, but at the show an older lady in front of us spent one whole song/dance trying to take a good photo on her phone and my daughter basically could not see through/around her phone which wasn’t great.

I didn’t say anything as live and let live but if she’d continued to throughout I might have done as it’s not really fair. Plus her photos were shite 🤣

Having worked front of house in entertainment venues, it's a bloody pain in the arse when people are filming. On top of ignoring privacy/copyright policies, it's annoying for other audience members to have a phone obstructing the view. Also consider what it's like for performers to look out into the audience and see people watching them through a screen instead of being in the moment.

I used to take videos but I don't bother anymore, but I do like watching other people's videos. This time they had a video of the pros beforehand saying what not to do in the theatre which included not filming, but of course people film anyway, and then the pros repost every video, which just encourages their fans to keep posting videos in the hope of getting noticed by them 🤷‍♀️

Gio’s team seem to be very hot on this- outwith the final bows/applause you see nothing at all.

Like a lot of theatres, Edinburgh has had some pretty major issues with drunk, abusive folks at Jukebox musicals so I think the staff were pretty relieved to have a nice, fun strictly crowd in. My daughter was dressed up all sparkly and they were so nice, making a fuss of her.

When I saw Firedance last year, there was an announcement asking people not to film most of the show, but they were welcome to film the finale and to tag them so then would share it on insta. That seemed like a happy compromise and most people adhered to it

As much as it's nice to see clips of the pro tour when I can't go (and of course I am going to watch them), I get that it's annoying for the audience and the performers. And at the end of the day, the show is for paying customers

But yeah, a bit daft to ban filming yet still be fine with the pros sharing clips online (because it's all publicity I guess)

Filming the bows seems to have become the accepted compromise in the West End as well, so people get their Insta story.

It's really a bit obnoxious to film an entire show, especially if your phone/camera is blocking someone's view. I did take a couple of pictures of the last group number on the live tour but was in the back row on the top floor and it wasn't during any of the celeb's dances. As others have said, they probably can't ban it outright if the pros then engage with it on social media.

As an anti-monarchist, Vito posting about his love of Charles is.. disappointing. Please stick to puppies, shirtless pics and cooking. I almost prefer Gio bragging about the success of his tour..
To be fair, he's not from the UK so he probably just sees it as a quaint cultural tradition. It's only really british people who live with the serious issues the country is dealing with that have strong feelings one way or another

Shirleys gushing story about Gio is too much 🤢 and the bts photos are all of him lavishing her with attention. He knows how to play older women.

She was way too over the top about him and his show. It kinda reaffirms to me that she has her favourites...

And whilst I don't know what his show was like, I swear that I see a completely different person and dancer than his fan club do.

She’s always like that and he absolutely plays into it- it’s a bit grim. The irony of him throwing out toyboy vibes with much older ladies when in reality he likes Insta models in their 20s and makes a big deal of wanting babies in interviews (although he says any old shite in interviews 😆)
