Thank god, this tour has gone on longer than big Charlie will sit on the throneThink it’s the last day of Kai & Nadiya’s tour tonight. Fair play to them, from what i’ve seen of the show it looked brilliant and I don’t think it was as much of a flop as we first thought
Bet their sick to death of each other. Kai has said recently they dont live together and pics hes put up show a very lads pad so what was the point in getting dog to confuse and share?Thank god, this tour has gone on longer than big Charlie will sit on the throne
Amy on bbc, her accent gets on my last nerve
Wee rundown of the show (I’ll put any songs/dances in a spoiler just in case anyone doesn’t know/want to see):
It really is such a fun show, with the live band/singers and a lot more engaging than the live tour (for me). They are all amazing of course, but real standouts for me were Carlos, Jowita, Karen and Vito. Karen is such a stunning expressive dancer, she just shone. I remember seeing her first ever series and she was so young and girlish and she’s just fierce now.
Vito is just lovely- fab, funny and obviously just loving being there. His enthusiasm was so infectious and genuine and the crowd loved him. It was pretty much sold out and they got a standing ovation at the end. The balance of numbers was great, my kids loved it and there was lots of variation.
They resurrected a couple of pro numbers that I loved from years back (the Western Cotton Eye Joe/ Timber one and the launch show chic medley which both worked really well, particularly with a live band. They did a Romeo and Juliet dance to a Spanish version of Pillowtalk with Jowita/Gorka as leads that was stunning and so nice to see them paired. My favourite was the Blackpool number to ‘You’re the Voice’ when they had their baby/family pics in the background and dedicated it to Len. It was beautiful and really emotional live. ETA- wouldn’t be a JG production without R&J
Sounds great. My question is:Wee rundown of the show (I’ll put any songs/dances in a spoiler just in case anyone doesn’t know/want to see):
