I am (shockingly!) still rooting for Ellie and Vito even though everyone seems to be turning against them. I love Layton and Nikita (but don't ship/stan them), have enjoyed most of their dances, really and want them to do well. But I have really loved Ellie's run of dances from paso-salsa-AS, plus her Charleston and AT. Even last night I enjoyed - yes, I'd probably have preferred a traditional QS but they were given a complicated assignment and did really well - Ellie was superb and Vito was hilarious as Gaston (obviously his true identity as an evil manipulator coming through!). And Luke Evans liked it!
At this point Ellie and Layton plus Bobby is probably the most entertaining final possible - I don't think I can sit through Annabel's Foxtrot-based Showdance and you know Dianne would try some batshit choreo that will probably be a disaster.

I've genuinely wondered since Blackpool when someone who was there mentioned Anton seemed really nervous as they were preparing to go live if he's struggling with nerves and maybe having a wee dram to calm himself. If so he needs to find an alternative solution because it sure ain't calming him!

I'm glad we're getting the dance reveals tonight. Hoping for a decent mix of ballroom, Latin and Specialty across the show (and no couples choice!)
Hopefully we will get contrasting dances for them. Annabel should get a Latin and Layton a ballroom, but have lost track for Bobby and Ellie

They revealed a couple of them but not all. I remember Anabelle saying one of hers is the Viennese waltz, though.
It's the same every year at this point people solidify on their favourites and can hear only positive things about their fav. That's why on DS everyone loved Ellie up until 2 weeks ago now she's the threat to their preferred winner.
Ellie is my winner, and I have watched many of her dances many times but I've honestly really enjoyed this year as a whole we have had some fantastic partnerships. I could happily not watch Bobby and Annabel dance again but I equally don't actively dislike them.
There is a huge amount of pressure at this stage on the Pro's Johannes and Vito both have recent experience at this stage of the comp, Nikkita hasn't been to a final yet and Diane has only been in one 5 years ago with Jo it will be interesting to see how the partnerships cope with it.

I still enjoy Ellie and Vito - if Annabel is in the final, I will definitely be voting for Ellie to win. They've turned a few questionable song choices into some of the best routines this year, and though they didn't quite manage it again with last night's, Disney was inevitable for somebody!

to the bigots and start it really sexy and that was enough for me. I genuinely feel a bit bad for Bobby but it’s really comical from the monotone nasal ‘nobody puts baby in the corner’ to Dianne’s death by noodle arms lift.

I do wonder sometimes, with her questionable hygiene and crass potty humour is so at odds with the other Pros who are all well groomed and sophisticated in comparison. Yet she seems to have some warm friendships
I noticed the waistcoat moment too. Every time I rewatched it…..I was very disappointed to see how covered up Nikita was when they walked on but it didn’t matter. Their chemistry is insane, from the start where they looked like they were about to devour each other to the end where Layton was stood arms aloft staring down at Nikita on his knees it wasThey have more chemistry in one moment than all the other couples put together.
Weirdy every time Nikita gets down on one knee I appear to involuntarily growl
