Angela S - could be fun if she loosens up.
Layton - I think they need to go glam romance.
Ellie - interesting song choice but could work.
Nigel - he could do well with this as he does sexy and brooding well.
Bobby - I’m genuinely quite horrified by this, it feels really exploitative. He is a young guy who lost his mum at a very young age. I’m not sure he has the emotional maturity to do this.

ETA - totally forgot about Annabelle which says it all. She might pull off a paso as she is stiff enough.
 
Tbh when Ellie got Insomnia for her paso I remember us all being WTF and it ended up being brill so I will trust in Vito..for now.

It is a tricky week to get an AT after 2 great ones in consecutive weeks, I think she might slide down the leaderboard this week. I could see Bobby being at the top with that couples choice

I have a feeling Nikita is going to do an American Smooth with little in proper hold and I fear this might be the week the judges grill them on technique and seem them also slip down.

I'd say it's fair game between Annabel and Angela which one goes, if Annabel does go I am pleased for both her and JoJo that they won't have spent weeks trailing the bottom of the leaderboard and have actually had some really good scores

We don't want to be forgetting filthy Vito. I love that he can be that hot but also so adorkable. Would laugh you into bed, destroy you in it and then go get you a hot water bottle and all the forehead kisses.

I think the worry was he was going to be the next Gleb or Gio and we didn't need that.

Yeah, I think using the lyrics would be odd, unless they really want to go down the 'Ellie gets her groove back' road yet again - I'd llke to see if they can do the passion and closeness Vito talked about on Lorraine. The one thing missing from Ellie's repertoire atm is proper sexiness (apart from the paso).

Annabel has got a great song so I suspect she'll be fine. Will Bobby want to do a big emotional unburdening about his mum, in front of Dianne?
 
For duck's actual sake, I cannot believe the only person they've given proper Argentine Tango music to this year has been Angela R. Oh well, she'll be safe no matter what happens.

Dammit, pretty sure my hopes of Annabel going this week have been dashed.

I'm really worried for Angela, Cha Cha's a tough one to have this late.

Also worried for Layton, he's going to need to show a lot of improvement from his VW to survive. I absolutely hate their song, but hope it somehow comes together.

Fingers crossed for a big enough disaster from Knobby that the audience doesn't want to save him. Poor Dianne, though, whichever way it goes. I really hope she's not being pressured to do this (assuming it is an emotional contempowaft, I couldn't be bothered to look up the song.)
 
You know that Gio would be a very selfish lover and would discard you once he was done.
I think Vito would be much more giving.

I’m always surprised by how much support Bobby seems to have online. I think people will lap up a Jade dance sadly, no matter how tasteless and exploitative it may be.
 
No offence to teenagers (I was once one and have three of my own) but at this point I feel like the show is being run by them. The overstretching of jokes and some incredibly dire gimmicks and song choices IMO. I sincerely hope Bobby is buying into this CC because I feel it's manipulating a tragedy, rather than it being something cooked up by the producers/his PR team and that's before we even start with Dianne. I feel Annabel was slightly different because she is clearly still within the thick of her grief.

Vito would definitely go and make you nice food whereas Gio would be immediately on his phone

Yeah, it's got Contempowaft all over it. It's a great song tbf and makes me emotional just listening to it. I suspect will be catnip if Bobby shows his vulnerable side, which he's hidden so far
