Views mean nothing, especially on youtube. A lot of Bobby & Diannes fans are obsessed 15 year olds who will obsessively watch a dance over and over again so it’s not surprising that there’s is higher.

I don’t think it’s suspicious. You can only vote 3 times and yet, you might go watch the dances back. I’ve lost count of how often I watched L&N AT last week but I could only give them 3 votes on the night. Bobby is possibly someone people assumed was safe. I suspect a lot of Bobbys votes also transferred to Nigel this week because everyone was outraged he was so upset..

Some people, especially younger people, watch dances back multiple times. Some celebs like Angela S might not have those kind of fans whereas other celebs like Bobby would. I know the BBC don't release the viewing figures but since the phone votes at least cost people money then the show can't fudge the votes?

As someone who lost their dad to cancer this year I don't know how she's doing it every week. I'm not her biggest fan but she's blatantly devastated by his diagnosis and just because it's chemo doesn't mean it's not terminal. Add on top Amy's diagnosis and a bit of a pervy dance partner and she's having a seriously crappy year.

I'm actually going to give her a break this year and instead focus on Vito's chest 🥵😍

Sorry ladies, I just don't get the Nigel adoration. He's pretty good but has messed up more than one dance now and his reaction to the comments doesn't do him any favours. It's not like he's the only one to get negative comments.

As much as I agree it was more than Angela Rs time to leave I thought what she said after being eliminated was really nice. Yes she spoke for longer, but you could argue she's considerably more eloquent than a lot of the celebs and better at talking on live TV!

YouTube views don’t really mean anything. Last week The Rippon had double the YouTube views of Bobby and Nigel.

I'm new to Strictly this year and was quite excited about Blackpool but found last night completely underwhelming 🥲 maybe because I watched it late at night after an exhausting day, or because I'm used to the layout/lighting of the normal studio but it felt a bit muddled and none of the dances I was excited about were as good as I hoped!

I thought Bobby and Annabel did surprisingly well, and Angela S was a shock success - what an amazing dance!! I voted blind last night so did my usual Layton, Ellie, Nigel but felt bad that I hadn't voted for Angela as her and Carlos were incredible! Layton was fine but I prefer his dances when there's a story or intense chemistry - last night he showed how talented he is but it didn't link as something cohesive to me (although Nikita sliding slowly down the pole at the end 🥵). Ellie was great and the lifts were insane, but somehow didn't wow me as much as their previous dances (and the trainers plus the fringe made her look even shorter!). Nigel's dance was pleasant enough and the little bow tie adjustment near the start was surprisingly attractive haha but it wasn't a wow moment, although I felt awful about how deflated he looked after the comments.

I saw someone ask why Bobby was picked over Angela as he made mistakes in the dance off - I'm pretty sure Angela made a mistake too as there was an odd bit where she was in front of Kai looking a bit confused while she did a few steps and then they grinned at each other - it made me think she was making it up as she went along!

The pro/celeb dance last night and the pro dance tonight were both messy and confusing, and the outfits were horrible!

All in all I'm glad Blackpool is over and will be relieved for normality to resume this week 😅

Blackpool is always an anti-climax as a viewer. I’m sure it’s a fantastic weekend for the cast & crew who go on a little jolly, perform in a proper ballroom & have the after party of all after parties. Although I can’t say I envy them travelling back to a London with hangovers today!
