I know this is not official but Dave's poll always seems to be accurate of who is going to be in the bottom two but the biggest shock for me is how low Nigel polled tonight. :eek: I mean Bobby was not that far off him; maybe if Bobby went last and Nigel went first it could have been a different outcome for the dance off.

I'm surprised Annabel got more votes than him; Angela S not so much as she had her best dance tonight. I thought him dancing last would give him a boost; maybe his reaction had something to do with it and put people off.

Layton will probably hit the dance off soon if he does not start pulling in larger votes.

It's most definitely Ellie's for the taking now and I will deffo be voting for her in the final.

The dance order isn't the reason Bobby is in the dance off and it's a weak fan excuse. Dianne's boring choreography, his okay but not brilliant dancing and the lack of chemistry between them is. His goose is cooked now - Annabel's done the emotional dances and anything else slow and contemporary based from him is just going to look samey.

Yeah I agree, he is genuinely upset. I remember that when Angela R got upset about her results people were very quick to judge her (rightfully so too - she is not up to scratch gone to be a bit of a one trick pony). I just don't get how people are giving him 'sympathy votes'

i do enjoy his dancing to an extent though - and he is not the worst there. but strictly is more than just the judges scores. Even if you are upset about the results, you know you are on live tv....Just put a smile on for the public or for the 3 minutes thats in it. He is an actor after all - he could do it if he wanted to.

I'm not a Nigel hater by any means & am extra excited to have another week of katya who is my fave!

All I mean is that each day people around the world who have serious illnesses / problems put a brave smile on for their kids / loved ones. There are kids in war torn countries etc. Dianne's father literally just started chemo this week. Amy is having chemo. Not trying to take from his feelings - he is entitiled to feel upset / dissapointment. It's more a case of emotions vs behaviours.

Anywayyyy I loved Ellie and Layton too. Ellie is having the time of her life - which i am living for as her character on corrie was always sour faced. I see a new side to her which I am here for!

I feel like the whole series like the last couple I’ve watched has all been a bit of a waste of time, I love this programme but it all seems much the same. I’m not rooting for anyone in particular although Ellie is good. The rest just seem to be going through the motions without any outstanding improvements. Judges are all over the place too, it makes me sad

I honestly don't think dance order makes that much of a difference tbh, or at least I don't think it has in this situation. I saw one Dianne fan on twitter that voted over 200 times tonight, and that was just one fan. I could be wrong but I just don't think Nigel will have fans that vote that many times for him, he just has more fans.

Very unprofessional. Regardless of her personal feelings towards Katya she should be judging the dances and choreography not the personal actions of the professional from years ago. Katya is the best female choreographer on the show by a mile and generally gets really good performances from her partners.

Katya is the best by far but we don’t know that Shirley is biased because of her so called affair?

The debt helplines will need a separate line for I Keep Voting For Dianne Buswell.

Perhaps I was brought up right but it beggars belief pissing so much money away with phone votes. Like, is it really worth it to rack up a few hundred quid so you can watch somebody you don't know dance with somebody you don't know for another week?

I do my 3 free votes and I'm done.

I just pointed out how close it was between them and I reiterate if things had been in a different order who knows what might have happened. You never know.

Its actually been funny to see some of the fans on the DS and FB especially seem to have a breakdown that Ellie seems to be now on track for the win over Nigel. Maybe some on here as well.

I'm sure Nigel does have more fans seeing as he has been in the industry for what 20+ years and was in Eastenders when it was at its height.

I sort of agree. Nigel is my favourite but thinking about it after tonight I can't say I'd be gutted if he got the boot as much as it would be a shame.

After that, I'd just be like 🤷🏻‍♀️

Layton, Ellie and Angela S are all good dancers and probably all legit winners but I'm just not excited by them especially, although they've all done dances I've liked.

We're at Blackpool and not a single thing has wowed me or made me really love a particular celeb/couple.

I last watched in 2019 I think and I thought coming back would be refreshing after a break but it all feels a bit flat tbh. It's disappointing.

I was like that on pop idol Will vs Gareth. I voted so many times for Gareth. Bloody waste of my parents money.

I'm in Ireland so I can't vote but even if I could there isn't a hope in hell's chance I'd be voting that much.I'd do free votes and that's it.

But if Nigel has more fans then he's still going to have more people voting for him whether he danced first or last. Bobby and Dianne danced second last week which is supposed to be the death slot and they didn't end up in the bottom two, Krishnan danced second last I think and he went home.

And your not wrong, if you like Nige you'll give him a vote but we're not that bleeping mental ....... 200 times !!
