I'm quite worried about Ellie tonight in those trainers, I've a feeling they might be heavy on her feet and the judges might not be able to see her pointing her toes or it could look stompy instead of light

Obviously that could help her narrative of being a lovely dancer who never makes mistakes but this week they need her to make a mistake and look awkward so that next week she can have her big come back after a week of garnering sympathy with the viewers who normally hate girls but will take pity on her if they think she's been purposely sabotaged with the wrong foot wear.

I first saw Layton on a BBC2 comedy drama series called Beautiful People 15 years ago. It’s just been put back on iplayer. Baby Layton is gorgeous ♥

Speaking of gorgeous, I adore this partnership. Imagine if Layton had got Graziano and Nikita was paired with Zara

They really are a great pairing. "He's travelled... he stayed at Soho House" .

Layton said that last night - that he knew how much Blackpool meant to Nikita so he wanted to do him justice. I thought that was lovely.

Just watched the training clips and I'm a bit worried about the use of strobe in L&N's dance. Hops they're not going to use too much or I'll have to have my eyes shut for the whole thing.

Really interesting. So Ellie could really break the mould. Although still an attractive female who's lost her curves as the show's gone on.

I’d be stuck to Nikita like glue Although his girlfriend is absolutely beautiful so really, she probably shouldn’t worry. Her & Zara really are a friendship I wouldn’t have expected! I can’t say I particularly like Zara though, don’t do it Nikita’s girlfriend

I really feel it could be either of them, it doesn't feel like a done deal this year which makes a nice change. I will be delighted if one of them wins.
For me it's about getting the final I want, a Nigel/Ellie/Layton would be fantastic.
If the voting between them is close I could see Nigel take it due to catching the casual viewer who tunes in for the final, sees a heartthrob of times past dancing beautifully, still sexy and seems like a lovely man.

They are the three I want in the final. And I don't mind then who wins.

Mine too. If only they'd have been allowed the same chance as Ramps and Karen. So many heels getting caught over the years, trousers splitting open and Chelsea Healey's top breaking and nearly falling down leaving Pasha to stand in front of her so she didn't flash everyone.

Purely based on layton being a dancer already I don't think it would be right for him to make the final so its a level playing field
The point is to start off with little to no dance experience and build on it every week having a dancer who could out dance the pros from the start win wouldn't be fair
As much as nikita deserves a win

Depends when they broke up really. Like, if they broke up when he signed up to do the show that could have been around June (I don't know how far in advance they sign the celebs up) or if it was when he was announced that's August. Honestly though, he might not have even waited long before trying to get with someone else.
