I do think Layton and Nikita are like brothers more than anything. I think their faces are even kind of similar - same shape perhaps?

They have a beautiful bond and you can see there's genuine respect, admiration and fondness there. I think both their mums would happily adopt the other. Dream pairing 💖
 
I always remember there was one moment in the Claudatorium with John and Johannes, and the way John looked at him... though. I was like "Oooh, hello!" (sorry for the Antonism).

I'd never thought anything about them before that (or afterwards), but something in John's expression, just that one time, made me think there was something there.

Layton and Nikita are a dream, though 😍 I love the comments on here, because they are more tongue-in-cheek and more of a laugh than anything else. Wish there had been more of a hint about their CC on ITT. I'm dying to know what's up their sleeve with this one.

Tbh I went in all guns blazing to find Adam annoying and it just never really happened (thanks to The Awareness Of The Consciousness Of The Twattishness Of Bobby's Thoughts). He had a lovely partnership with Luba and it's adorable how his family have embraced her. She looks so happy, which is lovely to see for her. It might mean a lot for her to have a "family" of sorts when hers are so far away.

They often don’t … I remember Lady Lav getting in a tizz and thinking because they weren’t showing any clips of Gio and Rose’s CC it meant they were blanking them rather than just trying to keep the suspense until the actual performance.

Fleur? I’ve been thinking this for a couple of weeks. The hideous baggy outfits- although to be fair, that’s always been her style, she often wears her husband’s clothes, and accesorises them.
But there’s been a lot of jackets with one middle button that conceal her shape
And really obvious prop holding…. So who knows?

When I found out that Adam had arthritis I was like 'oooh, OK, now I understand his tendency to be a bit OTT with the humour'. As someone with a chronic pain condition and disability myself, I tend to use humour to mask a hell of a lot of stuff.

I actually ended up quite liking him as a dancer, you could tell he was genuinely trying every week, and I really liked him as a person. He made me proper laugh quite a few times, especially on ITT (the whole 'strictly curse' thing, and being salty about his CC being to Backstreet boys just SENT me, and the DADDY'S OK??? That was just for us, I'm sure of it 🤣)

I thought his partnership with Luba was lovely too.

Oh god, there was a few of them that chimed in with that. Made worse when Russell Kane had the audacity not to declare Rose and Gio his favourites 🙄

And yet as soon as she was announced it was always on the cards for the silent moment, like with Nyle Di Marco on DWTS. I remember hoping the surprise would be something different and felt quite meh at it as it just felt so predictable. But it gets lauded as so original.

Luba's really melted this series. It's nice to see her portrayed with much more warmth than the normal Russian Ice Queen. It's interesting her partnership with loud, ott Adam has brought that out when usually on tour etc she's on the quiet bus and needs a month long holiday and silent retreat post tour.
 
thinking about it, given that ange can't do much more than stalk around the floor, grimacing, with an occasional sticking up of the leg, maybe tptb tried the morecambe and wise number with her, but quickly realised it would be tit so here we are

poor kai. him and jojo both need a fortnight in the maldives when this tit's done

I think as well that although they’re close, there was probably a lot of vying for attention with his brothers too (more so growing up I would think). Maybe he’s used to having to do something to stand out because I felt the first couple of weeks he was full throttle “I’m mad me” but then he settled down and was actually enjoyable to watch. He was clearly suffering and although he was probably pleased to go, he was following a Krishnan-esque trajectory and the improvement was obvious

Yes my comments are definitely tongue in cheek and are more about the fantasies in my deviant mind. I do think they have a spark and their chemistry is off the scale but I’m mainly just wanting to live vicariously through Layton.
Just saw this and thought I would share as I think it’s the perfect way to start our midweek slump day 🥵 🥵 🥵 Only a few more days till the bouncy castle floor!

I am CONVINCED - just hope that she is doing well. Good on her for not having announced it publicly, if so! ❤️
