I don't really see any evidence he doesn't get on with Angela tbh - they seem to have a laugh together.

I do think he would be bummed by all the negativity about Angela being involved in a fix as that indirectly implies he is a cheat and discredits all the work he has done with her (and say what you will about the bayonet leg, but he has done some excellent adaptive choreography and made the best of an 80 year old's limitations).

Taking notes from the popularity of Gorka's corset, they will both be in corsets šŸ¤ž

I agree, they seemed to have a nice partnership and he looked very happy the first few weeks. But if that's true, it's a bit of an hole thing to be telling him all the nasty stuff in that group. Why do that and add more piss to his chips?

I'll accept Nikita in a corset... a Playboy Bunny however šŸ¤£

I think Kai's done brilliantly this year but it can't be easy knowing you're - through no action on your part - benefiting from an easy ride and the subsequent criticism that's going to come every time you get saved.

I honestly think Kai has looked really downcast since all the negativity that happened since the 9 for the Charleston, and it's been relentless ever since. He made that the reference to 'the trolls' on ITT a couple of weeks ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's all souring the experience entirely.
I just looked at the comments on the BBC insta dance reveal post - loads and loads of anti-Rippon comments. It's a bit OTT tbh.

Meanwhile DS seems to have descended into Layton vs Nigel fan warfare - and it's only week 9!

I honestly think Layton is more popular than Bobby the Pervy Dullard - but maybe I'm delulu. I've just seen more real enthusiasm for Layton online whereas with Bobby it's along the 'he seems a nice lad' line.

Tilly Ramsay was only 19 when she competed and was pretty mature and sensible. Bobby seems just out of his depth.

Vito the evil manipulator seemed to make a big effort on ITT last night not to hug or put his arm round Ellie - in the video after he even had his hands in his pockets which must be a first! So either they're fed up with the rumours or it's part of his cunning plan for victory by... not giving their fans what they want?
I think its because heā€™s never really wanted anything or had to work for it. As much as I side eye Gordon for many things, they made sure the kids worked.

Bobby is now among people, who have worked crazy hard from being very young to get where they are ā€¦ both celebs and pros. Angela worked in journalism from being 17 in the early 1960ā€™s - which must have been one of the most misogynistic places to be, Annabel trained at tennis from a child, Nigel was a child actor, Ellie was in Corrie from a child, Layton upsticks and moved to London to live in the Billy Elliot house. These people know how to graft for what they want Whereas for Bobby things just seem to happen to him. He hasnā€™t grown up because heā€™s never had to.

The thing is, if Angela R had been given a samba and a jive, the same people complaining she's been given an easy ride would be complaining about pushing an elderly woman too hard. Imagine the tit the show would get in if she got injured - and at her age, an injury is a massive deal.

It's a fine line to walk, to be absolutely fair to the producers, but it does cause problems when she meets those who have been getting the trickier dances in the DO.

I agree itā€™s a shame people are focussing on the fix and that is casting a shadow on his choreography, their dances have all been good. And a lot of comments I have seen have more about the speed/pace of dances their doing rather than the quality of the dances themselves but I can see why it would get him down.

I would pissed off if my relatives told me what people were saying about me if it was negative! This is probably the first time heā€™s seeing negative comments from different parts of the internet - there must have been a lot of positivity when he had AJ and sadly he wasnā€™t with Kaye long enough to build up any sort of attention (for want of a better word) either way.

Well Kai has history there, the only reason they now have physios on set is because of AJā€™s ruptured tendon ( or ā€˜my partnerā€™ as he described her in his interview as he wonā€™t even utter her name).
Iā€™m failing to see why Angela has signed up to the live tour, itā€™s a pretty fearsome schedule, even for the pros. I can see her dropping out last minute .

Itā€™s rotten really ā€¦ thereā€™s someone every year that gets stick for going further than ā€œpeopleā€ think they should. Mike Bushell had it really bad. The thing is, no one really has gone that shouldnā€™t have. The only person you could really say youā€™d have expected to still be there would be Adam but the guy was dipping out of ITT on a regular basis, was sweating more than Gio in his first Year and looked like he could barely stand unaided. The guy was cooked. I think, in a way, if Amanda was still there it wouldn't seem so bad. One person out makes a lot of difference.

I second this. I think he will be wrecked by the time they depart but nobody can fault his professionalism and skill, imo. Truthfully I love watching him dance so I forget about Angela and her leg šŸ˜ most of the time.

As regards Bobby in a dance off, if Nigel was the other competitor, I think Shirl would definitely save Bobby. She seems very fond of Dianne and she definitely does not appear to like Katya. That's not me claiming a fix or a conspiracy but I'm thinking that's the way she would go. She always overpraises Bobby too. All it needs then is one more, possibly Motsi and that's Nigel out.
Noooooooooooooooooooo šŸ˜
