Bobby was never going to be brain of Britain with Jade Goody and Jeff Braziers genes. He must have had a strange upbringing with his mum being in the spotlight and dying so publicly and Jeff has basically built his ‘career’ on being super dad by parenting the kids alone after Jades death. I think Bobby is a twit but he’s really not had a ‘normal’ upbringing and he’s been in this weird nepo chav bubble.
 
There’s no fix but at the end of the day it’s an entertainment show and the producers main job is to make it entertaining and get people talking. A big part of that is the show stopping moments etc and getting the right dances to the right celebs etc.

For example they knew Annabelle’s CC would be a big moment (for both the show and her) so wouldn’t have risked her doing it too late as someone who is unlikely to go through to the end.

The only time I think it’s an issue is when celebs are clearly a bit screwed over E.g Max George and the bloody Simpsons

Yeah, he's not had a solid start in life (aside from financially) and I sincerely doubt education was a priority.
 
I honestly think Layton is more popular than Bobby the Pervy Dullard - but maybe I'm delulu. I've just seen more real enthusiasm for Layton online whereas with Bobby it's along the 'he seems a nice lad' line.

Tilly Ramsay was only 19 when she competed and was pretty mature and sensible. Bobby seems just out of his depth.

Vito the evil manipulator seemed to make a big effort on ITT last night not to hug or put his arm round Ellie - in the video after he even had his hands in his pockets which must be a first! So either they're fed up with the rumours or it's part of his cunning plan for victory by... not giving their fans what they want?
 
I'm really torn on the semi final dance off. I think it was a shoe in to be Amanda V Layton with Amanda going but now I just don't know. From social media alone it would seem the obvious top 4 (Layton, Ellie, Bobby and Nigel) all have equal support which means for once it really could all be down to who is best on the night

Yeah, this time last year two of the finalists had already been in two dance-offs each. I would have put money on Will to win the final - nobody predicted the tiny cape. This year it's unclear who is least popular, and it feels like on the night, presuming all 4 get that far, anything could happen and it could be a - horror - Layton v Ellie DO.

The only horror scenario is if Bobby never touches a DO. If he's in one before the semis there's a decent chance he'll be out by then.

The Big Three could all knock him out unless they have a particularly bad one (I'm looking at you Nigel).

The only way Layton could lose a DO is if he mucked it up somewhere. Nigel and Ellie are both technically very good but even at their absolute best I don't think could beat on form Layton.

Basically, Knobby must be stopped. For Dianne's sake if not ours.

Oh, I am not sure. It has been a difficult series for Dianne in more ways than one but if there was the slightest chance of winning the glitterball, this is her moment and she would love it. She could then retire 😃

According to some of the good folk in Juliet’s Spoiler group on Facebook, the cause of Kai’s unhappiness is people saying it’s a fix to get Angela to Blackpool. I forgot to screenshot it and when I went back just now it’s gone but one poster said his brother and cousin (I think) are members of that group and tell Kai what everyone is saying about them 😬

So Nigel and Layton have TPTB orchestrating their every move but if the lovely Ellie makes the final its completely organic and purely down to Vito's talent.

Ive wanted and voted for Nigel, Ellie and Layton since week one but I'm thinking now a better final would be
Ellie, Bobby and Angela S or Annabelle just for the fact it would blow up with the tin foil brigade .

Tbf, that comment you quoted was referring to Bobby, not Nigel.

I honestly think Kai has looked really downcast since all the negativity that happened since the 9 for the Charleston, and it's been relentless ever since. He made that the reference to 'the trolls' on ITT a couple of weeks ago, and I wouldn't be surprised if it's all souring the experience entirely.

I don't really see any evidence he doesn't get on with Angela tbh - they seem to have a laugh together.

I do think he would be bummed by all the negativity about Angela being involved in a fix as that indirectly implies he is a cheat and discredits all the work he has done with her (and say what you will about the bayonet leg, but he has done some excellent adaptive choreography and made the best of an 80 year old's limitations).
