Me too, I don’t think that’s fair on her though (unless she really has got the mafia onto Shirley). I’m mainly pissed with Craig tonight and he is usually the one fair scorer and he has consistently over marked her. Although I mainly want to deck him for giving Layton and Nikita a 9 when it should have been a 10 and his critique had lead them to believe that.

Very sad to see Krishnan go, I have loved watching him and Lauren. The genuine joy he has shown through his time on the show has been lovely to see.

Agree. Layton and Nikita are currently my favourites. Love Layton. Yes he has affectations and he's a fantastic performer, etc but he's also a complete sweetheart.

I'm carefully avoided the sea of spoiler tags and giving my thoughts on tonight instead!

Krishnan: Some of it was good but he was still walking a lot, I hoped he'd do better

Bobby: Me to my husband: "oh FFS, this is actually good!". Annoyed that I liked it the run to the stairs just for him to swing his leg over her was bizarre though!!

Angela R: Some of it was good but most of it was bizarre, and at times her posture resembled Gru from Despicable Me. Kai's waistcoat was horrific and reminded me of a strait-laced Christian colleague in his 60s who once turned up to the Christmas meal in a pleather waistcoat and matching baker boy cap, and was the talk of the office for WEEKS

Ellie: Really lovely, made me quite emotional! The acting was beautiful too, and I love how proud of her Vito is, his enthusiastic nodding when the judges point out difficult techniques she did well

Annabel: Surprisingly good - another "FFS" moment from me haha and possibly the death knell for Krishnan the awkward scrabbled cheek kisses she does with Johannes every week where it looks like she's falling down a well and trying to cling onto him are weird though.

Nigel: Cute with the hands at the start and end, and Katya's bend backwards was incredible, but fairly boring and a bit odd despite being well danced. I have demoted him from my list of crushes to list of thoroughly nice men

Angela S: I missed half of it because my baby kicked off and I couldn't get to the remote to pause the TV, but the bits I saw seemed nice! It was nice for her to get praise for once!!

Layton: I think I might have held my breath throughout because of how stunning and beautiful it was. At times with the lighting and how in sync they were I struggled to tell who was who! Intense and incredible, completely show stopping. Instead of children queuing to meet Santa, we all need to queue up to have a go at being held tenderly low to the ground the way Nikita held Layton the atmosphere in the studio was electric and the anticlimax when Craig only gave a 9 almost made me cry

Hoping to avoid all spoilers because I have no idea who'll be in the dance off and want to enjoy the drama in the results show!

Slightly off topic but wondering who will partner with Angela R on the tour as I think Kai will be busy touring with Nadiya. Fingers crossed it’s Neil. Hoping Nikita and Vito are kept with Ellie and Layton

Gutted to see him go this week. He did seem a bit low energy this week, don't if it was nerves going first or it's all catching up with him a bit and maybe he has to be careful with his condition. But thank you for bringing so much joy Krishnan. He's had a great "journey" on the show and been a real joy.

I don’t think Kai & Nadiya’s tour is until later in the year so i’m assuming he will be the one dancing with Angela. Don’t think Nikita or Vito have anything on either until the pro tour in April so they will definitely be doing it.

Nigel & Angela S got my votes tonight, although I have to admit I didn’t really get his CC, my mum was telling me she thinks Ellie and Vito are a couple and I missed the VT so maybe they explained it then I love Nigel so I voted for him but I really didn’t get it, seemed very low energy and a bit boring for a dance there is no rules for!

I don’t know if I 100% liked Nigel’s dance I think the song didn’t help and it felt a little ‘soft’ to me. But at the same time I thought it was technically good and Katya’s flexibility is superhuman

I loved the concept and the choreo but the song wasn’t great, would have been much better with a more classic/vintage song. I still loved it though!
