TBf to him he does say something about 'as long as you've enough to eat..' but yeah, sitting there with a diamond earring in... not a good look. I also don't believe he doesn't care about money. He apparently admits to be being a workaholic too. Makes sense with that endless touring before his legs pack up.
(Also, seeing Spencer M, what happened to the great Gio-Jamie Laing friendship? he wasn't at Jamie's wedding, no comment on his wedding post etc.. Seems to move on from friendships quite rapidly..)

I guess its more friendships of PR company clients than anything else.
 
Saved some of the comments for posterity before he untagged himself in it and then the whole thing was removed 🤪

It will never fail to amuse me that he PAYS for a PR agency.

Reminds me of the PR shitshow that was his interview with Heat (?) where he talked about having sex 200 times a week, and made disrespectful comments about women, then told upset Ranvanni fans in the comments to duck off. :D

Also: a permanent reminder when I see Spencer Matthews' name that his wife, Vogue Williams, famously called for Muslims to be rounded up and interned. Just wtf all round with these people.

Giovanni has become intensely dislikable since winning. Pros always lose what made them stand-out when they think they're bigger than the show (it's why I miss the likes of Natalie and Pasha so much, they didn't seem quite so desperate to court a wider career in entertainment).

One of my pet peeves is wealthy people saying 'money makes no difference to happiness'. Easy to say when it's not something you have to worry about.

He’s so disingenuous as well- constantly spreading different PR messages to do with women and relationships depending on what suits him, doesn’t own/try to understand that yes he works hard but others do in less fortunate/well remunerated fields or can’t due to life/the system.

I think he’d actually be more likeable if he was like ‘I love money and attention and being a Fanny rat and I’m milking it all whilst I’ve still got it’ 🤣

I do wish very much that J had never got involved with him, it’s done her no favours and he clearly doesn’t give an F.
 
Hopefully he goes out early again, would be a win-win for all. We don't have to watch him for long whilst he gets his fee and can spend 10 weeks or so dating instababes rather than dragging some celebrity through a routine.

After all, he still hasn't had his Anneka Rice type partner and I want to see his face with someone like that. KFG's facial expressions when with her were hilarious. Pure exasperation.

Of course, and it very much shouldn’t either. She’ll forever be stuck in that ‘exes’ list though for that brief blip, and it did kind of distract from their win a bit. Equally, their win has been quite understated and since the tour don’t appear to have really done much work together or interacted much so that hasn’t helped.

I'm not really sure it's that deep to most people. I can't really speak as a Strictly fan - I'll watch it when it's on as this thread is fun but I can't remember the win being that much of A Thing normally and couples don't really do much together after the tour. I think the Rose and Giovanni madness kind of skewed what a normal win is like.
