Ellie Taylor, who did Strictly just last year there with Johannes.

She was a really good presenter on the Pottery Throwdown: sympathetic without being cloying, and able to poke gentle fun. Most importantly, she knew pretty well instinctively when to ask to ask set questions and when to nudge the interview of an upset contestant in a different direction (which as we have seen from carcrash ITT interviews is a rare skill, not easily learned)

Quite a lot of people were hoping for her to get the Bakeoff gig on the strength of her performance, actually, She could do pretty well on ITT, if she wanted it, I should think.

Fact is not everybody likes the same TV Presenters. I stopped watching ITT when Rylan joined. I liked him but not as Presenter of this show.

You should be grateful that Alsuon Hammond has landed Bake Off or else she'd be the front runner.

Personally, I'm thinking that AJ Odudu or Ore Oduba will be in the running.

I’m poorly and passing the time rewatching most of last year’s pro dances to get an idea of some of the numbers that might pop up in adapted form in the pro tour- I feel like the Elvis tribute is pretty much a dead cert; led by Vito, upbeat and fun.

Another thing I’ve really noticed is who stands out and who doesn’t. Nancy and Carlos make such a stunning pro pairing, Lauren drew my eye much more than Amy. I hope she gets a partner this year- she has much more presence than someone like Chloe, and seems a wasted opportunity by TPTB to not use her. She’s got an established fan base too from Gio’s tours.

Also hoping that Lauren gets a celebrity, think she'd be great personality and dance wise. If everyone is coming back, they should either expand the cast to 16 or bench one of Amy or Dianne to make room.
