Yeah, it didn't really play out like the usual relationship reveal. I don't think it's done either of them any harm, but I imagine Jowita might have preferred most of her press coverage to be more about her Strictly win than Giovanni
 
I just can’t see it being a publicity stunt - why have pap shots of him smoking and looking like bored? And what’s in it for her - for people who aren’t SCD fans his rep is, as a DM comment brutally put it, as a ‘fanny rat’. 😂So for her to be linked to him is a very mixed blessing.

I suspect it’s his usual pattern - love-bombing (he looked very into her in the final hug, invited her to the birthday party), got bored, and maybe didn’t think it wouid make the papers. I don’t think he’d have started something with a co-star if he wasn’t into it.
Now, if he’s been a dick to her, he has to negotiate both her and the others in the cast..

If it was a casual hookup he should’ve been more careful with social media- after the shippers found that picture of Rose in Sicily he should’ve known that the footballer’s party was a risk, as they have (misplaced) impressive skills.

Yeah I would absolutely agree. I can’t think some of his fellow single Strictly dancers are living like monks (Vito, Nikita) but they are certainly keeping things much quieter and out of the spotlight. When he does have time off (pre-Jowita) he seems to spend it trawling nightclubs with older Italian guys which doesn’t come off great either.

I guess a lot of his close friends from the show are married or having kids now so their lives must be going in very different directions. Not saying he should be doing that, but he does need to watch his rep if he wants to keep pushing the double-act with Captain Vanilla.
 
Yeah I think he’s at risk of being known as just a Fanny Rat - and if one of those wannabe models were to leak messages/pics he’d be in real trouble for a family-friendly show like SCD.

A successful relationship with Jowita wouid have helped him a lot, showing he could settle down etc. After all, it was Rose who rehabbed his image a bit after the Maura semi-debacle..

That’s the problem with living your personal life for public consumption, there is a tipping point where it gets tacky and actually boring. You can protest down the line it wasn’t a relationship as such we had the same agent who thought a few pap profile raising pics were a good idea … but you also can’t be stunned if what you are shilling as a relationship is actually taken to be a relationship. It’s all right the devoted saying but he is so charming (for £100+ a pop) and smells divine (if you like Eau d’nicotine impregnated double breasted and polo mints) but when the USP for is love ‘em and leave ‘em for 7 years it gets a bit lounge lizardy (not forgetting, of course, a woman would have been completely slaughtered for the same).

also, is Amazon lying to me or has Dianne actually written some sort of dippy hippy dross a lifestyle book?

i hope the recipes aren’t too challenging. From Joe’s stint as a guest judge on Great British Menu you got the impression that unless food is orange, fried or both it’s a complete revelation to him.

(which is a bit niggling to me. All the opportunities they have for travel and to experience different things and you get the impression they are sat in the local ‘traditional English Pub’ having chicken nuggets and chips. Such a waste).

Everyone has reverted nice and safely to type- Dianne building her wellness-lite brand and Gio caught up in a tabloid dating scandal and being branded a fanny rat/ defended as misunderstood in equal measure 😆

ETA: apparently it’s all Georgia’s fault (WTAF?!).

From the looks of it its more of an encouraging book to get people moving. It's selling well on Amazon by the looks of things.

oh gosh no. Tattle is the limit of my social media 😀. I am a blank canvas 🤪
the thought of watching other people doing their washing up fills me with horror.
Thats not to say I don’t look at links should they present themselves.
