He must be back today, right? If only he would post more on insta - unlike Gio and his millions of very real followers, Vito's numbers haven't changed since SCD as he doesn't give the people what they want (thirst traps, Aaron, Italian food, mangled songs etc)

LadyLav talking about the DM comment section fixating on his smoking, while ignoring all the comments about him being a sleazy love rat etc :D

They care so little that they have to comment about how little they care 😆 What makes me laugh is that LadyLav will believe everything the tabloids say about Strictly in general, like who is in talks to do the show, but when the story is about her precious Gio humping and dumping yet another Strictly colleague, then it's all "whyyy does anyone believe anything the papers say?" 🤣

It will never not be funny that Gio probably thought he'd avoided the usual duffer duty with a same sex partner, but then ended up booted out second week in a pumba onesie

I'm sure he will get a ringer this year though. Speaking which, hurry up and release the pro line up, Strictly! I want to start endlessly speculating about potential partners
 
Possibly no change to the pro line up as nothing has been announced.
I think this will be Gio’s last year on strictly if his travel thing with Anton is well received. If not he will stay on Strictly for a little longer. I get the feeling he has WestEnd ambitions - but I’m not sure he talented enough. He might be able to pull off Billy Flynn in Chicago.

Whilst he’s one of the best male pros for acting emotions in dances, I’m not sure how that would translate into actual acting gigs, even as a stunt casting in the West End. Watch me say this and him get cast in that 2:22 ghost story thing 😆
 
I mean, he's basically got two modes: 'I am hopelessly in love with you' and 'I'm hopelessly in love with you and for some reason irrationally angry'. Not that any of the others are rivalling Paul Mescal..
I guess Kevin's career could be a model, but I think the accent is a bit of an issue. Also Gio seems to want to wind down the dancing and go down the 'variety' route. I guess he can keep the double act with Anton going for a few years.

This also makes me laugh- on the one hand he’s following/liking girls in their early 20s in tiny bikinis in Dubai, whilst heading out in a double breasted blazer to entertain older ladies with Anton.

I mean, it's a balancing act and he's verrry lucky none of these girls has gone public with messages he's (presumably) sent them! Anyway, I can see him at 50, round the back of the Sevenoaks Orpheum, wearily liking a bikini pic of a 23-year-old, while Anton calls for him to take his Omega-3

I noticed that he's changed his Insta bio to remove all mention of Strictly. Wonder if that means he's out of there?

I wonder if they've maybe axed a couple of the benched pros (Cameron is the obvious but maybe either Luba or Neil as well) and don't know how to announce it because it would look a bit odd to do a proper tribute post for someone who the casual viewer would barely know at all but don't want them to be unceremoniously absent from the list of pros when they are announced. It appears that the majority of ex pros left by choice in the last couple of years and were all high profile names.

Apparently he's been saying at his shows that he is definitely back this year, but I imagine it will be the last and Sarah James will indeed be ringing round looking for that elusive relatable/talented/untrained/not-too-glam/girl-next-door jackpot...

Lauren apparently said that she hadn't heard yet if she was invited back or not..

I’d be inclined to think it’s just because it’s the Strictly ‘off season’ and he’d rather foreground other stuff while Strictly isn’t a current concern.
Even if he is planning to leave he’d be mad (or deluded) to think that he’d be a big enough name to be marketable without the Strictly connection - most of the ex-pros cling on to their Strictly past for as long as possible as it’s a huge marketing asset.
