It's rather obvious based on SM that Gio thinks he's a bit above it all and probably has no use for the new dancers.

Though he was a new pro once himself - bet he wouldn't have liked if Brendan was rude to him when he joined.

Bit of a damp squib tonight tbh

- Layton's tango would have been 100x better with a proper dramatic song and not that piece of shite

- Nigel hammered for a couple of mistakes but them being brushed off in Angela's Charleston?

- Black Swan been done, boring, and I thought the flapping looked ridiculous although the en pointe detail was nice

- Jack the Ripper themed dance seemed a bit distasteful somehow, also dull and Krishnan's wig and ears made him look like an extra from Star Trek

- Ellie executed her routine extremely well but I thought the choreo was very bland

- Zara or Annabelle out

Yep, I think it was something to do with Jowita? as in telling him to go and hug her. I wondered if some of other pros were unhappy about him getting together with her, as she seems beloved, and they all know he is up a fanny like a rat. I noticed that Vito hasn't liked a post of Gio's since last Halloween, which may have been around when Gio and J started seeing each other...

Sounds plausible, he's always had an ego but after a strictly win and his own non strictly bbc shows I bet his ego is at record levels

I think Vito has known Jowita and her ex Michael for some time too so maybe he was weary knowing that Gio's attention is fleeting.

The bit about him not getting on with the new pros is interesting - it's probably a bit of an exaggeration but you can definitely tell the difference between how other older pros like Karen, Gorka and Neil get on so well with all the new ones, and Gio barely seems to interact with them much at all (well, apart from Jowita...)
