i think it will only work in his favour if he has the confidence to keep going with it tbh. you’re right that it’s perfectly set up for him with the comments i’ve seen on social media etc - but i worry that he’s just too anxious at this point.

craig (most of the time) manages to keep it on a campy pantomime level imo - and keeps it fun with the audience. likewise i think motsi tried that tonight, misjudged it and could tell it hadn’t landed right.

shirley just makes it personal and doesn’t let up even if she can see the contestant is getting upset by it. there’s genuinely no need. it’s a saturday night entertainment show! the way she tries to barter back with the audience is always judged wrong too.

As said above she's so incredibly thinned skinned. She immediately gets on the defensive and is hyper sensitive to any opposing reaction. Makes her super passive aggressive.

I think its admirable how he dealt with that incident and the catfishing. He acknowledged it, joked about it and moved on. It hasnt overshadowed his career

I suppose we should be grateful Shirley hasnt brought the tiny shoes out.
