I forgot Lauren choreographing for my darling Krishnan - they got the spooky memo too.

Our @StephenTJackson will gladly step up to the plate if you need.
I'd happily do anything with Neil even if it didn't stop Bobby winning. 😆😆
screenshotting this comment geetb thank you for your service 🫡🫡🫡
I feel like I've found a kindred spirit in @Geetbo for ability to take threads into the gutters. 😆😆😆

Someone needs to work with Shirley on how to deliver criticism on a light entertainment show. Craig has the right balance of giving honest feedback while also saying something nice and playing up the pantomime villain. Whereas Shirley goes in harsh and it lands horribly. Watching Nigel get progressively more defeated to the point where he looked near tears was not entertainment tonight.

(I know some people like to claim it’s sexism to criticise Shirley but I think that’s bullshit. She comes across as mean, just as she does when she gets pissed off at the audience booing, and it wouldn’t work for a male or female judge. Craig’s liked because he knows how to balance out his criticism with a compliment or a joke whereas Shirley is like getting told off by your least favourite teacher.)

I won't have to forgive you because I will be right there with you in RAGE!

I am right there too.

I suspect they know he is safe with the voters, but there is no point in crushing his confidence altogether.

He looked on the brink tonight. He may appear to have a fearless disposition but he cares and worries about his performance.

A lot of meditating required to dispel those anxieties. He really should not need to for a dancing show.

craig (most of the time) manages to keep it on a campy pantomime level imo - and keeps it fun with the audience. likewise i think motsi tried that tonight, misjudged it and could tell it hadn’t landed right.

shirley just makes it personal and doesn’t let up even if she can see the contestant is getting upset by it. there’s genuinely no need. it’s a saturday night entertainment show! the way she tries to barter back with the audience is always judged wrong too.

Spot on. There’s constructive criticism and then there’s being tactless and deliberately making someone feel like tit.

Just glad that Ellie got that salsa out of the way in a fun style. The memory of last Halloween (Vito falling over the chair in the DO and restarting, the Sun front page the next day about Fleur getting the fix in..) is exorcised.

Sorry not sorry

i just saw their after performance chat on insta and he really does look so upset. thankfully i think he has the right partner and you can see katya really trying to lift him up (in the two second conversation that we see!) but it’s never nice seeing someone that down after what should be a fun experience.
