I'm new to Strictly and my first introduction to Neil was during the Barbie dance. I said to my husband afterwards "there was some random ginger guy that didn't fit in with the others at all, he reminded me of Evan, the sweet little nerdy kid in Liv and Maddie" (Disney show). Now I literally only see him as a tiny child who lacks any of the coolness of his friends and whose mum won't let him go for sleepovers, watch television or eat junk food 😂

I thought this too. Absolutely no sexual/romantic spark and Rose didn't let him pretend otherwise. I do think a genuinely affectionate friendship developed though, and, despite being desperate to win, it made Giovanni far more relaxed and almost diffident at times around her. He came over far better that way and she was great.
 
I agree that there was absolutely NO romance between Gio and Rose. She saw through all his bullshit and called him out on all the stuff he normally pulled and for once he had to find a new way to interact (she was basically his Kryptonite) and it actually really worked for him. We saw the 'dorky little brother' side of Gio.

Unfortunately as soon as Rose left he rebooted and the sleaze grew back over him like a furry blanket.
 
And again what is Michelle doing on a Saturday?! New Dad's Neil and Gorka are there, mid scandal Gio is there, Amy is there but she's not been there at all. What's the point having her as a pro and not an extra like Jake? No other benched pro over the years has not been there on a Saturday, Luba, Jowita, Lauren, Chloe, Cameron, Nadiya, Nancy, Gorka and obviously Neil.

Poor Graz is being back chatted by Zara, he is overworking her, whilst he is sitting down watching her.

Who is the one who needs to learn and perfect the steps? Well it ain't Graz, that's for sure.

Even more poignant when Graz posts a pic of his wife with the song 'How long will I love you' and the message 'Missing my princess'.

I think the day has got to him. Never mind Graz it should all be over come saturday night. ;)

Why wouldn't they be though? It's their job to be there.

The fact that they are new dads is irrelevant, imo. I don't know any job where guys would be told it's okay not to turn up because they have new babies at home.

Ah sorry, Zara, Amanda got in first … and good luck with persuading people that Beagle in human form Graz is really a Mr Thwackum.
