I agree. Last week wasn’t the best either IIRC.

I’m surprised that they weren’t in the bottom two tonight tbh. They were lucky

I feel like the muscle memory of Irish dancing is so strong with her that she reverts to it when she’s out of her comfort zone. She seemed to stiffen up this evening as the dance went on. I don’t know how you overcome years of that stiff as a board training.

ripped open is too much for me. shes no good. i get it i get it shes old and can move. tremendous. but she cant dance. she doesnt flow,and only moves when put into the moves by kai.

Nigel openly said a section of it went wrong
then the judges said it went wrong
then his score had points deducted .
He wasn't marked higher than those who were better than him on the night Ellie and Layton were amazing imo so I'm not sure what more of a punishment you wanted to see for him

well no surprises on the bottom two tbh. I think zara definitely needs to go next. She's done well to get this far, she's a nice girl and looks good but she isn't really improving

What a god awful show that was. The judges and their unfair marking. The terrible dances. The only ones that were any good were Ellie and Vito. I'm not gonna comment on Layton and Nikita because we all know he has an unfair advantage over everyone else that's starting from scratch. I don't know if it's the professionals or the choice of "celebrity's" but no one else is really improving or doing anything amazing.

Oh no. I've been trying to jump in on the conversation here the last couple of weeks but the vibes are so negative on these threads. Strictly is a source of joy and I'm really enjoying this year. All I see is negativity about everything on this thread and it kind of sucks the joy out of it 😫

I don't care if we're not getting jaw dropping dances at this stage, everyone bar two couples were a joy to watch. I honestly think the likes of Kelvin and Danny have spoiled some viewers and they expect WOW moments from the get go so anything that's simply good or pleasant to watch isn't enough... (But only if the media aren't ramming their dance training down our throats).

I don't see how Layton gets the "oh it's unfair" treatment from the same people who still give out that Ore won over Danny. Especially when Nigel, Angela S and Ellie all have previous dance training too, and Nigel has a hefty musical background given his age too.

Anyway. All this to say it's a shame this thread is a bit of a downer 🤣 it feels Almost uncool to say I'm really enjoying the show this year

Well thank god no one can do 'Backstreets back' for Halloween next week.
The judges scoring (bar Craig obv) are pissing me off. Why cant they score correctly? :mad:
How has none of the judges mentioned Bobby's bum sticking out? is it because they all know its the producers fault for pairing him for someone two foot shorter?
Layton and Nikita are hands down the best couple for me. Not just because they dance great together but they seem to genuinely get on and enjoy each others company. I also love the fact Nikita hasn't given a shit he's dancing with a man. ♥
 
The judges were giving high scores but were bashing a lot of the dances so why score them so high.

Motsi looked fab tonight.

Ellie and Vitto were by far the best and loved the song choice.

Angela R is doing well for her age but surely it’s time for her to do a fast latin now.

Krishnan is like a breath of fresh air. He is better than I thought he would be and its lovely to see how much he is enjoying himself.

Can’t stand Layton. He is so full of himself and acts like a know all.

Zara is as stiff as a board and needs to go as she is just awful every week.

This is tattle….and I’m amazed how generally nice this thread is compared to many on this board! I’ve given up with a few I was on in the past for that reason ( being ultra mean , not ultra nice).
